#they should invent a grad school thats not fucking insane #i'm hanging in there but im the most unwell i've been in AWhile #this week was just horrible #there was already the freezer food incident but it also started off with a very severe pain episode thats putting me in constant woe #even mundane motion has been agonizing which is McAwesome bc we had a lab inspection which involved moving hundreds of pounds of equipment #during which we found a blackwidow and rats which we had to deal with and was a whole thing psychologically on top of the physical toll #the new class fiasco is still popping off and i had to respond to at this point over 400 emails in the fleeting moments outside of lab #AND A STUDENT TRIED TO FINANCIALLY BRIBE THEIR WAY INTO THE CLASS ? ?? ?? ?????#then the instructor wanted to use me as a guinea pig and i had to test new circuit boards but I wasnt given any time to do so properly #i had to test them plus get them operational and deal with my incoming students all in a frantic 10 minute window #im in charge of running our meetings too but the instructor was interrupting and having side conversations that made it really hard-#to train the other people on the new equipment in a smooth manner #which meant that a bunch of people had to keep me after to ask questions which made me late for my drs appointment #where i found out i cant get the new covid vaccine bc my heart and blood levels arnt stable enough #and joanns lost an expensive+critical fabric order of mine+i had to give a big presentation this week on my research that was stressful #and my inbox is still blowing up from being needed all over the place between teaching lab and classes and yall i am. so so tired.#im in so much pain and so stressed out #debating the ethics of turning into a pile of lint to escape my responsibilities and mortal frame

#ok so basically #grandma realized that she couldnt exert control over what i eat anymore (since i pay for basically ALL my food)#so now my WATER and GAS PRIVILEGES ARE BEING RESTRICTED #which is arguably worse!!!#i can show up hungry to work but stinky????#for context my total shower time of the ENTIRE WEEK is like 25 minutes. i take one long 10 minute shower on sundays to wash my hair #and even THEN half of them are with cold water because were nearing summer and i like them #for MORE CONTEXT #1. my parents give her money for bills 2. the government give her money for bills #and more importantly 3. #9: Crowd Control Mic. The angle of this drawing gives him a unique expression of anguish.

#8: Muppet Mic. I think he hurt his wrist, because it’s merely a noodle now.

#7: Shrug Mic. A special shrug for when you’re just not that into him.

#6: Erased-Voice Mic. As well as this unique shocked expression, this panel has so many Present Mic Lore implications! A truly enriching manga panel.

#5: Trepanning Mic. The use of his speech bubble’s tail to represent the pain caused by his yelling is an especially fun use of panel layout. I have to respect that.

#4: Goggle Mic. If you ever wondered why Mic chose sunglasses for his hero costume/signature look, this panel makes it immediately obvious. (It also took me back to when I showed my friend a picture of Mic, and they immediately clocked him as a sexual predator. But I’ll post more on that another time.)

#3: Flying Mic. He levitates across for several panels like this. Not sure how! Good going, Mic! (Maybe, since they’re paneled together, he was launched by Aizawa!)

#2: Upside Down Mic. He probably posed like this to tease Aizawa about some of his usual moves? Maybe. Or for fun. Probably for fun.

#1: Spin-to-Win Mic. Three Mics, an intricate office chair maneuver, and the much gentler “yeah?” with a toned-down smile to match. This man is pulling out all the stops trying to get that dinner date. He may not have succeeded in-universe, but he definitely succeeded on this list.

#man ive never seen an eating disorder kill someone else besides a parent infecting a child but my nana is really trying #shes like 1000% orthotexic. will not eat anything not filled with vegetables or fat. and my grandpa is 87yo with a heart condition currentl #in the hospital for covid bc thry went to Christmas church and dont believe in being vaccinated and my dad is so frustrated #bc he knows his mom is not gonna give his dad hearty foods. he needs to eat like protein shakes and meat and ice cream. anything thats not #her cooking which sucks on top of being extremely healthy. except its not healthy bc they dont eat a balanced diet #so its my nanas eating disorder killing her husband and shes so fucking frustrating. im like 99% sure she has obsessive compulsive #personally disorder bc she fits to a T and has zero insight. she may have full on 0cd bc talking to my dad he has more obvious 0cd #compulsions than i do. he used to say phrases before going to bed and would take 2 steps across the floor to prevent bad things from #happening. so like im pretty sure my nana is where i get my perfectionism and 0cd. god. i wish i could express how fucked up she is #like my dad said at least he had a stable home to grow up in but like she has zero sympathy for other people. cannot look past herself. wil #not wear a mask bc she doesnt care enough abt other ppl. my dad was like: u would not have survived in that house. which is fair bc i am #barely keeping it together coming from a stable home with two sympathetic parents who i know love me #and like its sad that they're suffering the effects of buying into the fox news bullshit and its killing them #but also. genuinely. i think theyre not very good ppl. theyre the type of people who think they're better bc they're religious. white. and #thin. and theyre not better thsn anyone. their grandchildren cant stand them. well cant stand her at least. papa is just quite so its hard #to say what hes thinking. apparently he was confused last night and saying something about eating dinner on the golf course. which sounds #nicer thsn being in the hospital lol. ugh. he seems not long for this world tbh. may he pass peacefully to b with his 1st wife who died of #brain cancer at age like 20 or something. so it goes. bleh. how many funerals are intended for me in the next 5 years? hopefully none but #that seems improbable with the unspoken drain circling that seems to b going on in this family. old age and like almost 10 years of cancer #defying the stats but for how much longer?#i dunno. its just so weird to watch these things happen and not talk about it directly to the other ppl who see it #i worry that ill come off as too callose or inappropriate bc i have that tendency when something bad is happening but thats everyone else #excuse? idk i just feel like its better to talk abt things #unrelated #ed mention #i tell u this so i can say these things to someone and also bc if i were u. i would like to hear the drama #bc im nosey and i assume other r too ;-]

#u can fetishize this its fine i dont feel that sick from the fullness #but also this isnt a kink thing for me im just chronically very underweight and keep trying and failing to gain #so uh 🥺 praise me for big meal and caloric drink #well big for me at least #maybe its like normal or sorta or still small for others #but for me its a lot!! and i managed to push through and eat basically all of it #on top of my snacks throughout the day like pretzels and candy and whatever else within reach #i worry if i gain new weight itll distribute wrong #but w how stressed i am and havent seen a doctor in years to deal with anything #ill probably never gain weight anyway #even if i do ill just be glad if i can gain back like 10-15 lbs i lost randomly and suddenly #rly happy this food didnt trigger any pain tho its like normal fullness its handleable #i feel warmmmm

Also it looks like I’ll be taking ex-coworker out for pho this weekend, she’s never had it before :V if I’m being evil and strategic, I won’t tell her that it’s a cash only place so I can pay her back for the burger. but I suppose the fair thing to do is give her autonomy and fight over the bill on equal terms rather than having an unfair advantage.

I hate grating potatoes for hash browns but it tastes so good.#ANYWAY I paid the STUPID upcharged price for delivery #and it came COLD #so fucking mad.
