I’m sorry but I don’t trust Tobert at all. He is too quick for everything, like immediately setting up Mabel with her own podcast and making a BloodyMabel poster, like-

I understand that Mabel is mad at Charles and Oliver, (especially at Oliver) but if I was Tobert I would’ve still asked her if she really sure to start making a podcast without them, but that’s just me.

Here's my tangent of Tobert

I don't like him he's annoying, he keeps seeing all the clues, he's suspicious. I feel like he overwhelmed Mabel with the Bloody Mabel poster since she didn't like being called that in s2 (tell me if im wrong i need to re-watch) and then Mabel said '#BloodyMabel' in the podcast. I don't think that's good, cause last season she was framed for murder and they used that name she shouldn't also use that name imo I don't think she would want to.

Tobert you gotta get outta here and leave Mabel. ...So she'll be with Theo haha...

I don't like Tobert he annoys me, who names their kid Tobert?

Waiting for the OMITB finale and I'm starting to think I've been wrong by believing Tobert had nothing to do with it the entire time? He just always struck me as a dude who just really liked Mabel and wanted an excuse to spend time with her. And also didn't want to have wasted all the time he spent shooting Ben, so a podcast is at least a way to capitalize on it.

I'm now thinking Loretta actually IS involved and she's been putting on a performance of a lifetime this entire time. Her flashbacks feel off. She seems to love making up her own backstory (like all her stories of near-run-ins with Oliver). Her folksy cute older lady thing.. and what if her son is actually Ben, and not Dickie?

I also feel like missing Bobo's interview might be significant? Like maybe there was vital information in the "lesser" interviews they didn't get.

I'm not sure if I think Loretta and Tobert are connected at all. I know there's been some speculation that he's related to her (though I don't think he's old enough to be her son.. unless she had another kid later 🤔)

Ugh. Loretta, Tobert, Howard, Donna and Kimber all seem guilty to some degree.

I'm never repeating my correct murderer guess from S1 😮‍💨

My thoughts on OMITB no one asked for !!!

I honestly hate we’re still fighting I swear I thought we would be over this by now 😭😭 like Mabel would NEVER do the podcast without them

I think tobert did it i think his motive was revenge I think Ben screwed him and might have been trying to fire him

I think his brother is just another red herring I think someone gave him the handkerchief and that’s why he had it

Loretta is their mom or a nanny but she knows them more than they may realize

No evidence but what if Kimber and Tobert had a thing gong on Ben found out he got jealous fired tobert and he got mad and they fought and he killed ben ?!?!

I also feel like we’re no where close to solving this thing because they been sloppy with it 🙃

OMITB 3x10 (THE FINALE) liveblog:

Okay, before we begin I just want to say my fear is that they won’t do anything with Tobert and there won’t be any pay off with him being framed as suspicious.

This actually seems like a pretty good explanation of what a producer does.

They actually managed to make the scene with Donna and baby Cliff feel sweet despite all the… you know.

“I have a hard enough time calling him Tobert.” lmao (and her smile after Loretta fist bumps her seems off to me, like the camera lingers too long.)

Good on Loretta for figuring out Donna’s sick.

I’m so sad that we’re gonna get so little of Mabel and Loretta together.

Idk if the hankies had names on them or anything, but I’m thinking they know the hankie wasn’t Donna’s?

I like Donna more and more as time goes on. ‘Yeah, I poisoned Ben, what of it?’ (and Mabel’s line: ‘why’d I write all these queue cards’ iconic.)

I've seen some people mention this briefly but can I just say I hate the trend of giving Mabel a new love interest every season?? Its so fucking bland and especially worse knowing that they've cycled through two PERFECT developable love interests for her (Oscar and Theo). It just...reeks of some kind of sexualization for lack of a better word I suppose. Its an easy way to get people talking, an easy person for the audience to suspect, etc. I just HATE it. Oscar was there to be a boy toy, Alice was there for woke points, Tobert is there for the sake of giving Mabel someone to kiss. Its OLD and LAZY.

I think Donna and Tobert did it.

The Donna theory everyone collectively thought of is right (so far) so I mean cool. That's cool I want it to be her.

But also Tobert. He could've pushed him down the elevator shaft. We don't know anything about him other than he's dating Mabel, he's suspicious and he wouldn't help a baby elephant. I also just don't like him so I just want him to be the killer. I feel like he made Mabel uncomfortable with the bloody mabel poster. And he's literally inserting himself into the investigation, trying to solve it with Mabel. He could've just been making sure they didn't suspect him. (Duh)

I don't have any interest in Tobert being involved in Ben's murder. That is honestly extremely boring and uninteresting to me. There are so many other rich and interesting characters with secrets and pasts for me to dig at and all Tobert's given me is a weird brief mother anecdote and a stuck elephant in the mud what am I supposed to do with that? I need more than "he inserted himself into the investigation" to make me fully interested in suspecting him. Could there be betrayal there? Sure! Maybe he's involved with Cinda somehow and will try to sway Mabel to work with her. Idk but if he's involved in the murder I'm gonna feel like all my theories were for nothing and I'll quit.
