What if neither Rex and Lucy came back for Emmet, so he saves himself instead?

I didn't post this here, so I present to you. . .

Forgotten Hero/Curses AU;

Emmet isn't saved by neither Rex or Lucy, so he saves himself right before they go to do so. He gets along with President Bussiness and BCGC to "escape" and doesn't want to see his friends as well due to fear and sorrow. Yet, Lucy and Rex got along and now that the universe is at peace, they are looking for Emmet.

This is Emmet seeing his rebuilt home after months.

Emmet appears to be quite older here, white strands of hair appeared because of stress, eye bags are noticeable and he has a bit of a beard.

His attitude is passive and mostly pessimistic, but still very kind even after the trauma of being under the Dry-ar for months, and no one coming back for him, it was... too much, plus the hopeless feeling about the idea that the two people he cared the most were dissapointed on him.

He hides himself, and lives with BCGC and Lord Bussiness, but eventually his plan of erasing himself from the Universe didn't go well because he was still attached to Lucy and Rex, and at least wanted to see if they were okay.

And...

It really didn't go that well.
