So proud! 🥹 Finally got the new shop OPEN and synched with insta/fb. SO HARD. Now I’m adding products as fast as I can. My family’s help has been such a blessing... and it’s been a real whirlwind from losing my accounts, to starting all over, to now, getting this new shop live. I even had to register as a legit business with an LLC to do this when I wasn’t even sure about this new business name 🫤 But..Here goes! Haha! I’m working on what seems like 1000000 projects to go up in this baby all at once. Honestly I’m just having fun with it, because why not? This is my shop where my imagination can soar and I got past all the hurtles. Now it’s just up to me to put in the work! And I’m a hard worker 💪😁🎉 . This painting, entitled “Serene” is embracing the color blue as a physical method of finding calm and serenity. The color blue is proven to be a soothing color, at which our brains release a calming endorphin called “Serotonin”, as well as lower blood pressure and slow the heart rate down. #28februaryflowers plus #100days of art and I am having so much fun! This was the first painting this year where I was happy with the end result. #yay #artisticgrowth ⚜️ This painting started out as an angel but I wasn’t loving the composition (I have a bunch of these from when I binge painted angels last year. It was so much fun but I really loved only one of them.) The rest of them are becoming fabulous under-paintings with so much interesting texture and color that peekaboos through here and there in the later painting. ⚜️ I love poppies! There is a group of authors called the @tallpoppywriters and they have been such an inspiration to me as an author. I have reached so much higher inspired by their work. Seriously, if you love to read fiction then please go check out this amazing group of novelists. They are the reason I love #poppies... other than... you know... the fact that they are gorgeous flowers. #theresthat ⚜️ I think I’m going to need to paint these again, so much fun! Day 17 of #200days of art started with a killer headache and the weather is doing something, maybe a storm is coming. ⚜️ I got an idea... and the idea turned into a painting. 💕 Here is “The Painted Ladies” 12x24 acrylic on canvas. ⚜️ I enjoyed painting this one, and then my step daughter called and I was able to continue painting while chatting with her - and I could also hear her working on something in the background... so it was an artsy morning for me and evening for her half way around the world in Europe. ⚜️ I have a feeling that if I sort of developed the idea of this painting over the course of a few canvases... I might end up with something I really like. Perhaps. I don’t know. I think that it is perhaps a little too literal for me now. It could really use a lot more personality. I will probably revisit this idea and see what happens. ⚜️ I’m an artist and I love anything #tinyhouse #Skoolie #airstream or #vintagecamper and I am a little surprised that it took me so long to get around to the idea of painting them.
