Rewatching the Eurovision Flag Parade and it is honestly baffling to me that iconic Ukrainian artists like Go_A, Tina Karol, Jamala and Verka Serduchka got barely 30 seconds of screen-time each (if that) while there was literally a twelve minute performance during the interval dedicated solely to British music. Sam Ryder even got a better performance slot than Kalush Orchestra who actually won last year...
Having been to Liverpool and attended Semi-Final One I do think there has been a good balance of British/Ukrainian music and culture overall this year, but that completely went out the window in yesterday鈥檚 final. The Ukrainian artists really should have been the interval acts instead 馃槙
ok but tina鈥檚 new song is so fucking sexy i love it it is exactly what i needed i just cant explain fucking god i love it like yes love me kill me babe fuck fuck fucking god
For the 2023 contest's Grand Final, previous well-loved Eurovision contestants will be returning to celebrate being "United by Music." First, Kalush Orchestra will open the night with a performanced called "Voices of a New Generation."
Next, during the flag parade, previous Ukrainian contestants such as Go_A, Jamala, Tina Karol and Verka Serduchka will weave their Eurovsion songs with popular British songs.
As part of the first interval act, Sam Ryder will perform; then previous Eurovision contestants (Mahmood, Netta, Da冒i Freyr, Cornelia Jakobs, Duncan Laurence, and Sonia - second place winner in 1993) will participate in a performance called The Liverpool Songbook, as a tribute to Liverpool's contributions to pop music.

the absolute contrast between Monatik and Dan is murdering me. Dan's voice is as deep as the ocean and just like being under water, every time that man starts singing it takes my breath away.
Tina on the other hand can shatter glass with that scream which is its very own kind of fascinating.
Okay so apparently Mahmood, Netta, Da冒i Freyr, Cornelia Jakobs, Duncan Laurence and Sonia will indeed not be performing their own Eurovision songs but will be part of the "Liverpool Songbook" act or whatever the fuck the name of the act is called which, yeah whatever, but I'd much rather they sang their own songs... The selected acts are extremely Northwestern European too... feat. Mahmood and Netta so... Yeah...
Luckily, I still think Kalush Orchestra, Sam Ryder, Go_A, Jamala, Tina Karol and Verka Serduchka are part of a different act, I think they're all gonna perform during the opening / flag parade and it will still be their own songs.
And there's still Ruslana who will also perform but I don't think she's part of either of these two acts.
