Every morning I build a little hut for Polk out of my pajamas and the heated clothes rack. Today she realized that if she lies a certain way (see above) she can sit in her Warm Napping Tent and watch me at my work desk in the corner of the bedroom.

hey! idk if you’re still doing these, but I’m kind of curious about the genetics behind Tiny Tim’s (formerly the anti worm) coat! his little socks are so dark, and I’m wondering what combination of genes might make that happen

sorry, I’m honestly not sure! my familiarity is with the discrete genes that make up cat colouration (recessives, dominants, co-dominants) rather than the polygenes that control rufous levels, hair banding, etc.

if somebody else is more familiar with that area, you’re welcome to educate us! otherwise I’ll do some research later tonight to see if I can learn more.

I think Tumblr fucked over (what do they call it, shadowbanned?) Tim's sideblog btw, it's not showing up when I search for it and your ping the other day didn't show up on my notifications :/ Tumblr is such a a functioning website smh

I can't imagine why in the world Tim's blog would be shadow-banned or whatever. I've literally never done anything controversial on that blog ever???

If it has been, I don't even know what to do about it. I have no idea how to fix that kind of problem :(

Dammit. I scheduled some posts for Tim's blog tomorrow and accidentally set them to AM instead of PM. And I can't edit to fix them, it will only let me post or delete

So I'm just gonna have to let them post at the ass-crack of dawn and then reblog them to the intended time >:(
