Every day I wake up and remember how much I already miss the Bishop-Bradford-Lopez trio from season one of The Rookie

“There’s good news, and there’s bad news. Actually there’s just bad news.”
Bradford scowled, although Nyla had long since learned that was just his normal face. “Because that’s always what you want to hear when you’re investigating a potentially armed and dangerous suspect.”
“Oh, it’s not about the suspect,” Nyla told him. “Nolan is looking for advice with his new girlfriend, and has somehow gotten it into his head that we’re the right people to go to, since we’ve both been married at one point.”
His expression turning incredulous, Tim said, “He does remember that neither of those relationships lasted, right? How did he get it into his head—” His eyes widened for a moment before his scowl returned. “Lopez.”
“That was my guess, too,” Nyla agreed. “Now, is it too soon to start plotting revenge?”
“Not after something like this.”

Lads, let me tell you something. Deciding to watch The Rookie based mainly off my knowledge from Tumblr (which mainly made me think that it was the Tim and Lucy show) is kind of a trip in the first season when Nolan and Lucy are a thing
#like. i had no clue despite having been informed ahead of time#literally it cut to his house and i was like 'oh nolan and that waitress ending up being a thing? didn't expect that'#and then i was all 'huh? that doesn't look like the waitress. lucy?? what are you doing here-- WAIT A SECOND'#did not occur to me for an embarrassingly long time#anyways other than those two i'm deeply enjoying this show!#love bishop lopez and bradford's sibling energy#also please know that this is the first and last time you will ever see me refer to him by his real name#from here on out he is either a) tim bradderingtonford (because when i first heard about him i couldn't remember his name#b) taquito bradderingtonford (inside joke)#or c) eric winter the awesomely beautiful (because i heard somewhere they almost didn't give him the role since he was too pretty)#the rookie
