I wrote this last year, but decided to post it on tumblr only now, because I did so with my new fic, and now it seems like a good idea to “promote” my AO3 works, haha.

Summary:

‘Don’t tell me you never had a difficult choice like this to make in your entire life,’ when she spoke again, her voice was calmer, but she was still bustling with every kind of conflicting emotions. ‘Don’t tell me you never made similar mistakes.’

The Doctor breathed out noisily and hid his hands in the pockets of his trousers, as if trying to conceal the invisible blood stains on his palms. Her arrow landed right in the bull’s eye.

‘I did’, was his simple confession, ‘and that’s why I never want to see anyone doing it ever again.'

threejo is so underrated cause it’s one of the only classic who relationships where the doctor’s opinion of his companion drastically changes.

three is prickly to jo at first because he doesn’t respect her like he did liz shaw, a fellow scientist and intellectual, but he gradually warms up to jo until he becomes just as dedicated and loyal to her as she is to him.
