Thomas and Metias, based on the painting Ivan the Terrible and His Son by Ilya Repin.

Took some artistic liberties with this scene (don’t think it was raining yet when Metias was killed and Thomas did not take the knife out of his chest), but I think the result makes it a bit more dramatic. I also tried to make it look as if Thomas had panicked and tried to pull open his jacket to staunch the bleeding, and drew the the bloodstains on Thomas’s left hand wound around his ring finger, like a macabre wedding ring.

ı am currently reading marie lu's champion and ı am also watching bad batch in the meanwhile.

so spoilers ahead for both of them.

now ı am at the part where june visits thomas for his last request.

thomas killed metias and day's mother yes but he was just being a "good soldier". now ı am not saying what he did was right it was wrong but he was really a good soldier to his luck he ended up with jameson. and ı am sorry for him because all that happened to him happened because he was a good soldier, and if he wasn't a good soldier and didn't follow orders to the letter, he could have saved his friend. But in the end he was just being a good soldier.

ı said good soldier a lot because ı am watching bad batch's new episodes every week and ı remember clones everyday. clones were good soldiers and good soldiers follow orders. but when the order is wrong there is nothing good soldiers can do besides following orders.

and that is the tragic part to me. all the clones, crosshair(ı am mentioning him seperatly because his character development was the best and he is my favorite character from bad batch) and thomas were good soldiers but the orders given them was wrong. And they have to live with the consequences.
