There's a lot going on here.

Harassment allegations are too broad to cover. Have I been involved in sending hate messages, making threats of violence or doxxing? Absolutely not.

Am I someone who will happily respond to people saying bigoted and hateful things about myself or my community to tear misinformation apart? Absolutely.

I generally don't drag out an engagement though. If someone posts something harmful, I'll make a post about. Maybe a few. And sometimes I'll post anons that have more to add. But I'm not going to focus too much on a single individual. At least not by name. I also try to avoid abusive language when I can.

I personally wouldn't call this harassment, and don't think Tumblr would either.

As for the alleged misinfo, I find that people will label anything they disagree with as misinformation. Unlike anti-endos and System Cringers, nearly everything I state about the science of systemhood can be backed up with sources.

Anyway, here is the context, which frankly seems weird to me. Of all the posts you could have used as examples of cringe, why this one?

The answer is yes. r/systemscringe doesn't believe lesser forms of trauma can cause dissociative disorders.

As you can see, the only possible mental conditions someone can have are disorders. Aphantasia? Not a disorder and so it's not real. Synesthesia? What's that?

Your blog title has the word news in it buddy. News organizations fact check and provide sources that make it easy for their readers to fact check them. You're admitting to being a shoddy source of news while telling your followers to be better at it than you are

Some of the posts are screenshots of tweets of firsthand accounts from regular people. Those should have a link to the original tweet, which nn definitely has because that's how they got the screenshot in the first place

Some of the posts are screenshots of tweets of journalists or politicians or news organizations that have links to articles from real news sources that aren't tumblr blogs with news in their url. Those should have a link to the original tweet and a link to the thing the tweet is linking to. There's different standards for different types of sources, which is normal for all research

There isn't no reason to post a screenshot, tweets get deleted so sometimes a screenshot is all that's left, but a link should be included because there's a different message being given when a link to a tweet gets a 'this has been deleted' message

Posting real news as a linkless tweet, in addition to making it harder for people to fact check, makes legitimate news look more like bullshit dis- and misinformation which makes it easier for those to spread. And the nn mods have fallen victim to this as well, they've posted misinfo and didn't catch it because at a glance it's identical to all the real news they post (and also they're not fact checking everything, by their own admittance)

*Btw have you ever noticed that the symbol to add a link on a computer is two chain loops linked together. If you want to maintain the link of sources maybe use the little chain symbol

not sure if anyone here or or elsewhere in newer websites has mentioned this already but.... technically, isn't Tomoe Ame also a "two first names" kind of name? I don't think anyone assumes either name is her last name tho if they've read the comic... Now i'm thinking about going down this thread of thought to see what I find, just out of curiosity, since I've seen different stuff said about her name specifically.

I know she's named after a candy Stan once liked as a child called Tomoe Ame (トモエ飴) but also loosely on Tomoe Gozen, a real-life samurai who lived during the late Heian period and took part in the conflict that led to the first shogunate. I think some sources also say that while Tomoe "is her given name, Ame is her family name" - like this info page of the UY RP game in the HERO System Role--playing game.

But I wonder if older Usagi fans have brought this up about her name before? Or had arguments about it?

There is this Talk page, dating from 2005 and 2008 under the Wikipedia page for UY characters;

Having been a sole moderator for another fanwiki for years, I know just how many people like to add misinfo or their own headcanons or other things they've heard onto official/unofficial wikis, meaning most trivia without some source (like even what book or episode it was mentioned in), is a bit useless info in many cases. Sometimes I think that maybe I should make a Samurai Rabbit fanwiki, just to have one with legit info and have one new place to discuss things about the show itself but.... lol i am so tired of fandomcom wikis haha

I think the main problem with Nessa's design is that she Isn't a swimmer. From what the descriptions have said, and from the general theming so far for the other gym leader/champion, it looks like they're all supposed to be Like? Soccer players? And it hasn't mentioned anywhere that she's a swimmer. So it's wild if shes like the others, bc that is Not a soccer uniform. Also, even if she Is a swimmer, she'd more likely have actual professional/sports gear father than sports bra and short shorts.

(adding your other ask here so I can over both together) I hope that I'm not coming off as rude or anything btw, it's just that the misinfo that she's a swimmer seems to be everyone's go-to for talking about her design!!It’s very easy to see that she’s a swimmer, not only if she a water type gym leader, but her design does scream swimmer, it’s tight-fitting like a swimsuit should be and her footwear has what look like ring floats on them that kid swimmers have. And while what she wears doesn’t match what real-life professionals wear, it is very similar to what Misty has on in Let’s Go.If you’re right and the gym leaders ARE football based then I would say Nessa is being sexualised, but while I believe her to be a swimmer I don’t think she is, because like I said in my post, she is more covered then the swimmer class.However, I think the theme is just sports, Milo being a footballer and Nessa being a swimmer.
