I think that being apart of fandoms that aren’t crazy popular or trending or gaining loads of attention—especially on Tumblr—is kind of calming and not underwhelming at all, for me at least. It’s a community of people where everyone knows each other like a lil suburban town where you have the nicest, coolest neighbours who you see everyday and just talk to about your favourite things. I honestly enjoy seeing like 10 posts under a hashtag a day and being up to date than being bombarded with way too many to the point where I have no idea what’s going on
