The Starlight Lounge was sparkling in her jewels and finery.
Poppy had secured the Chad a seat near the edge of the venue, with a direct line of sight to the bar, stage and host stand. If any of his targets even sneezed, he would know about it.
He reflected that the one upside of these tickets being so damn expensive was that his good friends at UNIT had so far failed to make an appearance tonight.
But Chad wasn't an idiot, UNIT had all the connections the world and he was certain they'd pop up somewhere.
But until his targets showed, he was enjoying some small talk with one of his livelier table mates-
