I woke up in the middle of the night with idea for a series of comics; basically the ending scene of BOTW, but Zelda reacts differently depending on which armour set Link is wearing. of course I had to start with the rubber set which is one of the funniest to me lmao

i messed up woops

the vai set! this one was HIGHLY requested!! omg it was so much fun drawing this outfit haha. I kinda made it intentionally ambiguous as to what Zelda is thinking and whether Link is confirming it or not. He's either confused because he's got nothing to reveal, or because whatever it is he assumed Zelda knew all along 😂 you decide!

He is friendly and fun-loving (with a good dose of trouble-making), but has a quick temper that sometimes gets the better of him - especially around his rival, Revali. He's known among teachers as being a chaotic student who's often disheveled, losing his homework, and running late - but they all know he has a good heart. He tends to act before thinking.

Zelda is the new girl at school. Smart, stubborn, and trying her best to gain autonomy over her life while staying in her dad's good books at the same time (this has mixed results of course). She's a punctual and focused student, and needs her friends to bring her back to the real world from time to time when she gets lost in her head. Although she's generally received well, her father's fame and her high achievements often make her the subject of gossip and even minor bullying.

Yes, Revali is arrogant and (seemingly) unfeeling, but it's mostly an act to protect himself. Although he's cold he would never actually hurt someone intentionally, and he does the right thing when it matters. He takes any and every opportunity to rile Link up, resenting him for excelling so easily and naturally when he himself has worked tirelessly on his own skills. And of course, Link's close friendship with Mipha doesn't help anything...
