I wanted to make a post about this earlier, but it completely slipped my mind!

TLDR: Inprnt, the print on demand service that I use, hasn't been paying out artists in a timely manner/at all as well as being incredibly vague and opaque to the issues going on. That's the reason why I have decided to archive my works for now until either issues are resolved or I manage to find another way to distribute prints.

For those that are curious I've put more infomation under the cut.

There's already been great posts made about the issue here, here or here with lots of artists coming forward both in the comments and qrts talking about their expierence during the past 6 months. The gist of it is that any sales on inprnt are subject to an initial 30 days period for the payment to "clear" alongside another 10 business days after a transfer is requested by the artist.

However for me and many other artists those 10 business days have been stretching out to 1-2 months. Many not even seeing any money unless submitting a ticket, myself included.

To put that into perspective: Sales I have made in the first week of April were paid out in the last week of August after I submitted two tickets.

Ticket responses are also considerably slower than the 'two business days' listed on their site as well as me not even being able to access my past tickets on their website anymore.

I want to give inprnt the benefit of the doubt, since from what I've been told their print quality is stellar. That being said, the way the company has been handling the unfolding situation is concerning. There has yet to be any sort of public announcement about the issues going on, nor an eta when they would be resolved. Instead comments are turned off or deleted.

Had it not been for the posts I've linked above many artists (me included) would not even have known that this is a wider issue that's seemingly affecting way more sellers than just 'a tiny minority'.

I still have an outstanding payment from them that I requested last week. I'm fortunate that it's a small sum compared to what others are still waiting on. I hope for everone's sake that the issues are really with PayPal and get cleared up soon.

I saw another ask you responded to ask about prints and i wasnt sure if u know of some of the sites that you can upload your work to and it handles all the printing and shipping and everything for you. Im not sure of the names of the sites rn, but i know there's a bunch out there. (You may already know of these, in that case, sorry) but yeah, i also would love some of your work on my walls too, i love it so much omg

I also wanted to ask if you've ever tried drawing Mikko Rantanen? He has the most gorgeous baby doll curls when he grows them out and amazingly blue eyes, both of which i think would look adorable in your style! Dude looks like the personification of goldilocks and it kills me every day.
