Ok now I kinda regret bringing up my anti-weeb phase
Pls don’t think I’m a hypocrite or think I just got into anime bc it’s popular guys. I went thru both an “otaku” phase and a “no anime” phase ;-;
#it was really embarrassing#like I said I wasn’t really anti anime I was just kinda anti wee#anime was literally one of my first and longest hyperfixtations#I kid you not I hyperfixtated on anime for 4 years#it wasn’t until I started growing out of it and I started encountering REALLY toxic people in the fandom#so for like a year I would say I kinda went through a phase where I didn’t want anything to with anime#and would make memes about how I hated anime and stuff like that#then around late 2020 I started getting back into it with DMC and Junji Ito#Jinmen and Metamorphosis were my faves at the time
