Catching a glimpse of her younger sister hiding from the corner of her eyes. "Don't you have something to say to your savior, Chidori..." 

The redhead jumped before popping her head out of the corner. And with her head hanging down. She slowly walked up to her older sister. Hugging her arm before affectionally nuzzling her head against it. Turning to look up at the heroine, who lay resting on their bed. "I'm sorry..." She apologized. "Chidori, you are the royal princess of Kaen, where are your manners?" "Ah..." The redhead quickly pulled back before doing a proper curtsy and a bow. "Greetings! I'm the second princess of Kaen, Chidori Ryuuzaki."  And the elder sister introduces herself next. "And I'm the Crown Princess of Kaen, Kanako Ryuuzaki..." Having more experience, she carries more elegance and grace, with her curtsy and bow.  "Thank you for rescuing me. You have our eternal gratitude of the Royal family of Kaen..." Looking at her sister. A smile greeted her face, as her sister nodded in approval of her royal greeting. Quickly returning to her affectionate ways, nuzzling up against her sister's arm. "I'm sorry. Please don't be mad. I just wanted-" Raising her hand. "We will speak about this later..." The Crown Princess stopped the younger sister from speaking, as they were in the presence of a guest. "You will be lectured about this later..." Sighing. "I know..." "Have you apologized to the maid and the guard? For causing them distress..." "Yes, I did..." Chidori just replies before receiving a pat on the head.  "I cannot thank you enough for saving her..." Returning her attention to the blonde. "The City of Kaen is in your debt..." Bowing her head again slightly.

"Shun Onii-chan!" The young Sainitia rushed to the Legendary Bronze Knight. "I'm sorry to bother you but I need to talk to you..." The flustered child grabbed his hand as she pulled him aside. "Something happened to Onee-chan!" She finally told him. "I don't know what happened exactly. But Onee-chan met her brother and they had a huge argument..." Enough to attract a small crowd around them. "When I asked if she was okay, she says she was fine. But she sounded so cold like she was completely a different person..." Biting her lips. The child did her best not to burst into tears. "Noburu is usually the one to fix this. But she's not here right now and she's on the mission..." As her shaking hands grab Shun's hands. "I'm scared that she will disappear. And I don't know what to do. Please help Onee-chan!"  

Somewhere outside of Sanctuary, there are many hidden gems, a spot, within its grounds. One was a waterfall not so far off from Sanctuary. It's a place the Lioness loves to go to, to think and be alone with her thoughts. There is something about the beautiful scenery that was calming, and the loud crashing sound of the water, that was so loud, it could drown everything, even the Lioness's cries.  Stepping with her barefoot into the cold water stream. She soaks her handkerchief before pressing it against her eyes and letting out a heavy sigh. Laying down on her back against the rocks. She looked up at the sky and thought. What a day.

In the past, Kanako used to have control over her emotions where her family, their words and actions, would easily phrase right through her and she feels nothing from it. But seeing her brother again after so long, learning and allowing herself to feel again. All the sadness, anger, and frustration began to pour out of her mouth. That she couldn't stop herself from snapping and yelling at him when her family had the gull. Wanting to reconcile with her after how they had poorly treated her and scarred her emotionally in the past. No doubt. The rumor mill back at Sanctuary is probably hard at work. With the headlines, the Lioness, the black cat, viciously attacked her own brother. How wicked and cruel she is!? It's ironic and hilarious how the culprit (her family) is playing the victim card here.

There are times she wished she could go back to the old days when she was emotionless about everything. It was easy to deal with things and function normally, without being shackled by her emotions. But she understood that it had its flaws. That she wasn't able to reciprocate her genuine feelings to others, without it sounding bland or disingenuous.

Yet. "₩ⱧɎ ĐØ₦'₮ ɎØɄ?" A sinister voice whispers into her ears. "JɄ₴₮ ₳ ₥Ø₥Ɇ₦₮..." "Maybe I should...." She spoke to herself as her eyes turned glassy.  "₵ⱠØ₴Ɇ ɎØɄⱤ ɆɎɆ₴ ₳₦Đ ⱧɆ₳Ɽ₮. ₮ɄⱤ₦ ɎØɄⱤ ⱧɆ₳Ɽ₮ ₳₴ ₵ØⱠĐ ₳₴ ł₵Ɇ. ⱤɆ₥Ɇ₥฿ɆⱤ ₩Ⱨ₳₮ ł₮'₴ Ⱡł₭Ɇ ₮Ø ₣ɆɆⱠ ₦Ø₮Ⱨł₦₲..." As a cold breath escapes the Lioness's lungs and just as she was about to let her heart freeze, allowing the darkness to swallow her whole. A bright familiar cosmos pulled and snapped her out of the darkness. 

Opening her eyes. Her glassy eyes met a pair of emerald-colored eyes staring back at her. "SHUN!" She gasped as she sat up quickly. And felt a stink in her heart that she winced slightly. Regaining her composure quickly. "How long have you been standing there?" She forced a smile on her face. But her eyes, there were red and they couldn't hide the sadness she was holding in. Concern about how much he has seen. Her lips form into a thin line as she sighs. "Chidori told you, huh?" 'Damn it, Chidori!' Mentally scolding her. "I'm alright. Chidori is just overreacting." She lied as she pushed him away. "Shun, I'm sorry. I'm not in the best of mood today, and I wish to be alone by myself..." Feeling Shun's presence inching closer to her. "Please I beg of you. Do not come any closer..." As she bit her lips and stopped herself from meeting his eyes. "Because if you do...." Her voice breaks. Sounding so small and fragile. "I wouldn't be able to hold myself together any longer..." And droplets of tears began to fall from her eyes as she broke into tears.

Thanks to Noburu, her wing woman. The Lioness discovers Shun's birthday is around the corner. It took her a while to figure out a perfect gift for him. She knew. That Shun loved books, but checking out his book collection, isn't exactly an easy task, especially, since he has another resident outside of Sanctuary. The chances of getting him the same book for him were too risky. Thanks to Chidori's suggestion. She decided to knit him a scarf; since Autumn is coming soon. It would be a perfect gift to keep him warm in the colder days ahead. And giving her a purpose and a goal, to pour her heart and her feelings into the gift. 

And as time passed by, spending weeks, throughout her leisure time, and many late nights under a table lamp. The scarf was finally done and it came out pretty well, for a beginner's work. Only one problem.  "Is that a cat?" The Vixen tilted her head as she studied the scarf.  "No! I think it's an owl!" Chidori studies it. "No-no! It looks like a dragon!" "Or a snake?" Letting out a heavy sigh. "It's actually a ferret..." Challenging herself, more than she can chew. She thought it would be a good idea to add an animal, a ferret, on one part of the scarf, since Shun reminded her of a cute little ferret. Sadly, it came out looking like something else. Feeling dejected. "Maybe I should throw this away...."  "W-What!? NO!" Both Noburu and Chidori quickly protested. "Don't do that, Onee-chan! You worked so hard on it!"  "Well! Sadly! It looks horrendous! I can't give something like this to anyone..." The Lioness felt even more dispirited.

Seemingly, it's like fate has its sinister rom-com plans for her. Noburu and Chidori spotted Shun. They quickly flag him down and grab Kanako before she can flee.  "Kanako got something for you!" With their words, there was no turning back, for the Lioness, now. "H-Hi, Shun..." Kanako bit her lips as she hid his gift behind her back.  "Give it to him already..." Noburu annoys and pesters her. Glaring at the Vixen with fire, her eyes softened when they shifted back to Shun. Taking a leap. "Ha-Happy Birthday, Shun!" She presented him with his gift, a dark emerald and gray-colored scarf, tied neatly with a big white bow around it. "I-I hope you like it..." She says a little prayer as she crosses both her fingers behind her back.  'It's a Ferret...' Noburu mouthed to him, standing behind Kanako.

Saya, Kanaria, Towa, and Taiga @eternalorganization passed out goodie bags to Kanako, Noburu, and Chidori as they wish them "Happy Halloween!" Taiga baked the cookies in his goodie bags himself. Noburu's goodie bags all have alcoholic chocolate. The goodie bags from Saya all have chocolate roses. Kanaria's goodie bags all have Canary Sablet in them. Towa's goodie bags all have candied apples in them.

As the sisters found a quiet place to rest after their trick-or-treat hunting, they were extremely excited when they were greeted by their friends, and surprised by their goodies bags too. While Chidori chirped in delight at the sugary treats, Kanako and Noburu were concerned, with how on earth they would be able to finish all of these tasty treats, knowing there would be a weight gain price from it.

Regardless. They show their gratitude towards their thoughtful friends, by inviting all of them to rest and eat with them. Serving them a pumpkin-themed feast, prepared specially for their friends, with hot drinks (coffee and tea selection) dessert (pie and cupcakes), and some alcohol for the older saints, to celebrate the haunting feast mood.
