hello! was just going through the urban rescue ranch tag and saw your post from a lil while back and was just wondering if you could elaborate on why you think he's an animal abuser? I'm not any kind of expert on that sort of thing but it looks like he takes very good care of his animals, so I was wondering how you formed this kind of opinion?

hi!

Just so you know I am personally not an animal sanctuary/rescue expert, its just one of my special interests, I'm pretty sure someone who actually works in a rescue can elaborate more

Secondly I used to be a fan of his youtube channel, however I stopped watching after I learned more info about how animal rescuing actually works, I think I stopped watching when he adopted a crocodile? So there is a chance he corrected the stuff I bring up here and I just don't know

Now onto the actual list:

He keeps Kevin despite being aggressive, instead of euthanizing him like he should have (the ethics of euthanizing aggressive animals is a whole other topic I can elaborate later) he instead fights with him, which is obvious animal abuse, I personally don't know if aggression is hereditary with big birds but the fact that he also lets him breed is also slightly concerning

He doesn't properly quarantine or sex his animals, something that is basic for practically all animal rescues, there was a whole incident with Big Ounce because of this in which he didnt know his "mate" was actually another male, I have heard stories of some rabbits that died because they were not properly quarantined but I'm not fully sure

He takes his non-tamed animals outside for some reason? Once he took Big Ounce to walmart, there is really no reason to do that other than to be funny and in most cases it puts the animal in more stress

When rescuing animals he handles them with no protection, just bare handed, this is something that does not only show that he's not responsible, but that could also harm the animal in some cases (most amphibians have sensible skin)

He kinda just lets Big Ounce free roam??? Does he want him to get eaten by an eagle???

This is just the ones that come to mind right now
