I wish I could telepathically transfer my shower thoughts onto pen and paper because whenever I try to replicate them after the fact something fundamental is lost and it just sounds like I'm making a poor attempt at writing my first ever philosophy paper

#i was thinking about how anexiety is the abundance of thought while awkwardness is lack of direction #and how they are very much opposites even though for a long time i thought they were the same #anexiety is an expanding force while awkwardness is the lack of....#an empty space if you will #i was thinking about it bc i dont really get awkward even if i absolutely get nervous sometimes #but twice this month i have been struck with awkwardness and it has been so interesting ! thrilling even #and then i started to think about how awkwardness is a central element of comedy #and perhaps that is because awkwardness is precisely an empty space #and its human instinct to fill it with something! laughter if nothing else #idk like i said these observations are so half baked when written out but anyways #also stretched out awkwardness is just awkward and the state of it is a weird place to be in #the temporary awkwardness was thrilling bc i hadent experienced it in a long time and bc we got over it quickly #but this awkwardness has been going on for too long and i feel a little stifled by it. stuck in the feeling of it #maybe thats an essential part of awkwardness too ?#who knows #also how regularly are you supposed to feel awkward? is it a common thing ?
