Back for some more WEBTOON “reviews”. I feel like I should have a disclaimer that these are all purely my opinions as a NONprofessional. I don’t write or draw comics so I don’t know anything about the technical side, I just talk about how I felt when reading. Anyways, recently I’ve read a couple so I’ll write them all down:
Immortal Weakling (Yaruno/Civen): pretty good! It has an interesting story and art, I’m not quite sure where it’s going yet but it looks to be starting out nicely.
Sword interval (Benjamin Fleuter): this one is finished and I have to say it is an insanely awesome story. It’s a great read and has lovely complex characters and lore/world building. Truly a master piece!
Saint Catherine (brusierkee): this one is great too! I think it’s on a hiatus and so far I’m not sure how far into the story we are, but I love the idea so I think it will be really interesting. Plus the art style is adorable.
Souris (littlemothpants): this one is kind of a reread because it had been a while since I caught up, but I definitely enjoyed it. I think the story is really interesting, it’s one of those zombie apocalypses and while I may be wrong, it feels like the author has found ways to make the world building unique despite the commonality of the zombie trope.
The Witch and the Bull (moonsia): absolutely amazing! I love this story, it is so unique and the world building is beautiful. It really feels like the author put a lot of thought into how the story will build in complexity.
Holy Hell (Marilyn Hightower): this is the final one I’ve finished. I LOVE the art style and I think the story is really interesting so far. I wouldn’t say it’s brand new, but I do think it’s newer, so the full shenanigans haven’t erupted yet, but from what I can tell it’s gonna be awesome.

#FFXIV#gpose#Au Ra Xaela#OC: Arkhe#endwalker spoilers#because the area he's in#but yeah even without the rest of the uniform I'm gonna find ways to include those thigh-highs with other glams#I feel like he'd wear things like this more with his Domina moniker that I was thinking about giving to him later on#he'd be a bit more formal in dress at that point since he's trying to start over with his life a bit#and still be the kind to hide weapons and pull out a gun at any time#some Garlean is like ''muahaha no mere sword can defeat me how can you kill me unarmed?''#and Domina just goes ''like this'' and shoots the fucker#he'd still be a Dark Knight of course he'd just use guns a little more often and he may or may not loot Garlean corpses for them#he'd be the Merlwyb of the Scions where he just pulls out his gun to solve the problem at random intervals

SO curious abt i am the fire that burns without wood and harbinger ponk my eyes are wide open !!!
i am the fire that burns without wood is a character study of liz sherman from the hellboy comics! she's ummmm a pyrokinetic that struggles to control her powers and she fights nazis while angsting over the fact that she cannot help but hurt people around her and also i think she's catholic. i love the hellboy guys they're just. so neat. document title is from the novel things fall apart by chinua achebe and the mountain goats song "handball" that used lines from things fall apart including that line.
The scientists who flit around her call it pyrokinesis, follow it up with theories about temperature manipulation and particles and combustion, but for the first two or so years of Elizabeth’s stay with the BPRD, she is still convinced it’s hellfire.
harbinger au ponk is about ponk's whole deal in the harbinger au (which is the name of the s/word interval/supernatural monster hunting au) and i think i posted about her this morning but it goes into the bargain she made with the fey creatures of the lemon grove that she and sam now lives in. the "main fic" in this universe is dawn and morning dove grey which has two chapters of on ao3 and i have not updated it in almost a year. cringe.
Anyways, Ponk likes to plan ahead. They want a home to come back to and a bed that fits them and Sam and Fran and security and a wedding. Maybe. Eventually. When they’re brave enough to ask.
