I've figured out why John's interludes infuriate me

He's basically a guy who goes onto r/aita and writes a long screed filled with the most heinous shit you can imagine and ends with, "AITA for killing and eating my mother when she was sick?" and then starts arguing with people in the comments

I love how it took last night for me to put together that the reason I love Jod so much as a villain and respond really viscerally to people whitewashing his actions is because he has a ton in common with my abuser.

Like i was writing that off-the-cuff meta about forgiveness thinking about how I have a lot of feelings about it as someone whose abuser demanded they be forgiven and withheld forgiveness from me and how Jod does that, and then dominos started falling in my head.

Anyways pre-apocalypse Jod got cancelled and deactivated his tumblr in a fit of pique after invoking marginalizations he does not have in a discourse argument
