I was just revisiting your posts about what the Disney ladies would be like in high school and I know that post is from awhile back but I need MORE. What about Moana? Alice? Jane Porter or Vanellope? Call me crazy but I live for Disney high school AUs lol

oh MY GOD this made me revisit some old memories LKJGSLKGJDF i know most of the stuff in that post is just really stereotypical mean girls stuff and i think all the princesses irl would just get along really well in one big hugbox (because it’s disney, DUH) BUT it’s so much more fun to imagine them in gossip girl/mean girls style high school shenanigans gjdlfkhj or at least it is for me

moana comes from a big family who has very high expectations of her and the pressure gets to her sometimes. she neither cares nor wants to be part of the “cool girls” club and immediately hits it off with mulan (similar athletic interests, family pressure) and ariel (they both love the beach, and ariel complains about how STUBBORN her dad is all the time so moana can absolutely relate). but for some reason anna takes this weird clique-y interest in her and she keeps getting roped into the popular squad which gives her such a headache you have no idea. aside from merida and maybe rapunzel?? she has NO common interests with them and tbh anna and elsa...don’t even seem to like her that much so why is she constantly getting called on to eat lunch with them what is happening what is going on

i am so glad you asked about alice. tbh to me she’ll always be a kid but in a high school au she’d 100% be the arts and literature kid, forget the “drug addict” stereotypes (i fucking HATE that, if you follow me at all you know i hate the drug rumors about aiw). she’d be like giselle; kind of spacey, too weird to really hang out with but surprisingly smart and insightful once you get to know her. too bad most people overlook her though. she speaks a bit of french and you know her family is kind of a big deal in england where she comes from (her dad is a dean at oxford university) so people assume she’s a bit snobby, which she IS but without meaning to be. because she’s another literature kid she’s always under belle’s wing (belle tutors her in french) and she and ariel get into trouble sometimes for being too curious about stuff...like why is the calculus teacher sneaking off at lunchtime with the principal’s secretary....HMMM......

i’m not too sure about jane porter since it has been very long since i watched tarzan, i will definitely get back to you with more details but for now she’s the anthropology student who also has an interest in zoology. i also picture her as a senior around the same age as daisy and minnie, so she’s really busy with college admissions (she’s trying for cambridge or ucl and has to do her a-levels on the side) and has NO time for any of the petty drama that’s always unfolding. she hasn’t opened her facebook since she started senior year. probably ran a studyblr that got abandoned sometime during finals week OOPS

there was this ONE time that someone (hint: it’s drizella) tried to start a rumor that jane was dating this weird hobo man from the next school district over, he came to pick her up once from school and it turns out....he’s fine as hell LMAO that was a big day for the secret facebook diss group where suddenly everyone was trying to find out what his name was and where he’s from

vanellope “jesus christ, is that a fucking gremlin?!” von schweetz. like, if she had a nickel for every time someone quoted that line at her she’d have enough money to buy the arcade her dad runs. she’s not a gremlin, guys. she’s just short and really damn grumpy about it. very secretly wants to hang out with the cool girls (that’s elsa, anna, rapunzel, merida, and now a very confused and unwilling moana) but she’d rather have you pull her (very sweet) teeth out than admit it to anyone

she has a fantastic sense of humor though and has been voted “class clown” for two years running. she would also absolutely be one of those kids who sold candy to other students on the sly and made a fucking fortune out of it, causing the school to ban sales altogether. she runs a webpage that she coded herself--she’s very tech-savvy--that’s like an intranet for students where they can post school-specific memes and such (think of it like yik yak). anastasia and drizella once approached her to ask her to help them run the secret facebook page but vanellope refused because she’s not petty like that and mean gossip really isn’t her thing
