Well, it's been a while since I posted on Tumblr, but I figured I might as well promote this video around here as well since I know y'all love the Magnus Archives.

I'm doing a series on YouTube where I analyse every Entity in TMA one by one, and this is the latest, eleventh episode about the Vast. I had a lot of fun producing this, especially since I used a bunch of new assets, so consider giving it a watch if you have the time and like a certain horror anthology podcast.

Also, there's some art that goes with it, so y'all can have that as well. I wanted to experiment a bit with this one, so it's at an odd angle, I did the shading in a much more painter-ly style than I normally would, and I used bolder outlines. Here's Simon Fairchild seconds before jumping out of a cable car, for anyone who wants to see it.

Looking back on it, it seems very obvious that I've always been highly fascinated by the vast.

I always loved high places and every time I'd see a construction crane, I would get so excited and my mother constantly had to remind me that it was very much illegal to climb them.

Most importantly though, I loved both the ocean and the skies.

I loved wind turbines, too. Still do, actually. My dream as a kid was to climb all the way up to the top of one and just stay there, for as long as I wanted.

My dream job was, and I quote: "wind turbine reparator in the middle of the ocean". If that doesn't make me vast affiliated I don't know what does
