chronic pain is the fucking worst.

I visited the Stand Alone Cheese shop in Queens. They have every cheese that I've ever dreamt of and so many that I will now dream of. The people there are kind and very knowledgeable about cheese. They proved to me that I've got a friend in cheeses😉 I should've brought an extra suitcase that I could've filled with cheese to bring home. Next time, I will. Right now, the extra space I have to bring things home is already almost full of pizza, bialys, egg rolls, and Italian cookies. But I still bought some Parmesan reggiano, pecorino romano, and some asiago to take home. I'll find a way to squeeze it in. I couldn't resist. I can't wait to cook with these cheeses!!! Mama mia, this will be delicious 😋 😍 TSA always looks at me kinda funny when they see my bags are packed with food, but I don't mind because it's sooooooo worth it 😁 I love NY ❤️

alcohol tasted AWFUL to me the first 21.5 years of my life and then this past christmas break sth clikced and now suddenly.... i like it. and I'm enjoying that i like it and NOW am enjoying drunkenness almost every evening (im much less of a lightweofht than i look but much more of one than i like to think) and im wondering if maybe i shld be ..... concerned.

gonna testrun blue apron for a little bit, i think, 'cause i just like. do not know how to cook when it's just me, and it very much is just me rn.

i have way too many deadlines this week and it is entirely my own fault but that doesn't stop me from feeling sorry for myself about it

but my plan for the week is one more exchange assignment, an exchange pinch hit, and a commission, followed by celebratory drinking

somewhere in there, as much applying to jobs as possible

Quick Life Update

Hello hello, my fellow internet urchins! I know activity here’s always extremely sporadic, and that’s not gonna change in the near or moderately distant future (unless I suddenly acquire incredible time management skills but...ha), BUT I figured since I’ve got an impromptu day off it might be worth sticking an interim update here in case I go months without a peep, so here’s what’s been happening lately:

Moved countries and continents again!

Started a new job for better or for worse lol

Found and am currently wading between at least three new(-ish) obsessions (which will hopefully surface here at some point instead of staying on the backburner indefinitely) 

Forgot how to draw :(

RE-LEARNED HOW TO DRAW

(...Okay that’s a much smaller list than I expected, it feels like it’s been a year but I guess it’s only been a bit under two months XD)
