My dnd group does something funny with new settings in which we just kinda. Add new continents and places into our existing world. We started out with just the Sword Coast and then added Eberron, Fierda (I think that’s how it’s spelled), Barovia (we managed to un-evil-ify it with magical time shenanigans), and just a whole buncha settings.
