aka the timber scouts! they're basically just a bunch of kids in a sort of guild prep-course. so, not a real full official guild, but functions like one. all the kids have different woodland animal gimmicks to go with the scout vibe. They have a very loose shared uniform too, they're pretty much allowed to customize however they want as long as they keep the white button-up, brown outerwear, dark brown bottoms, and brown boots. also like a lot of kids in other guilds, their weapons are toys or otherwise "safter" items. But that's pretty much all! They aren't super deep characters, but more general info still under the cut :p

Behold my pirate ship. Scourge of the seas (a blanket and some pillows)
Progress photos under cut :)
Made almost entirely from cardboard popsicle sticks toothpicks and white school glue (this whole project would have gone almost twice as fast if I had caved and bought a hot glue gun) I spent a total of $2.50 (to buy popsicle sticks) on this project. The ship is built to a 1”=5’ scale to match the scale of other D&D miniatures. I meant to also time myself so that I could know how many hours I put into this but I totally forgot to do that, though I believe it took somewhere around 80-100 hours of productive work to complete this thing <3.
#um the progress photos and write up are largly simply habit due to the many production build journals I’ve made in recent years.#if you percieve a bit too deeply into my every day life based on the background of these progress images you can just disregard that.#anyways yippee I am so glad this is finally finished <3 it took over 4 months and I finished it just days before the campaign finally begins#my.art#:3 I actually am so happy with how this turned out also. and she looks even better in person ^_^

Every time I see a really cute writing prompt that lists its primary characters as close friends and someone comments “But what if… they were LOVERS???” I don’t reply but I am mentally slapping their hand and going “NO! Stay away from my precious platonic prompt with your amatonornativity!”

Guys I legit just had a dream where I read a bsd comic on here and it made me cry so much. And now im awake and its not real and I 100% do not have the artistic talent to recreate it (nor do i want to hurt myself that way, wow it made me cry so much)

My favorite part of the Karmaland event was when Sapo Peta had an intense make-out session with k!Quackity and then immediately started flirting with k!Q’s mom (k!Staxx) right in front of him.
Also the part where Q bullied Merlon so hard he drowned himself, that was really good too!

my nightmare last night was specifically about being older in my 30s already. working at a video game company in their art and design departments. except, i wasn’t doing anything hands on or creative there at all. my only job was to clean up after the people there, while thinking i could've drawn or designed something better than the scribbles presented on their monitors in my own hazy subconscious state. stewing inbetween this sense of envy and admiration. knowing that these people only really got their jobs because of their commendable confidence to actually apply themselves. in reaching out to others and putting themselves and their work out there, while not failing to meet deadlines by sacrificing their work or anything either. a lot of things i still significantly struggle with..
i lived through a few days experiencing this environment, its office buildings, and the people housed in them. sitting by the wayside and only glimpsing into the lives i wish i had or felt that i could be part of. i was pretty much walking around a future i’d receive if i didn’t fundamentally change how i actually engage in my own life to meet similar criteria…a future that i feel would be just around the corner if i didn’t start to plan out which direction to go in and look at more options for myself. when i woke up in a cold sweat, i just thought about all the things i could do to try and regain my sense of self and my drive to actually create.
#escritos#sueños#i'm still thinking about this now and mulling over the different ways i'd like to be more present#specifically in regards to taking up more space for myself in art circles when i've felt so estranged from them for so long#often i feel at a disadvantage for not going to art college for it to help get my foot in the door or discipline me with a better workflow#and i feel the disadvantage when it comes to mental and physical afflictions i'm still learning to navigate now on top of everything else#but if i could somehow find it in me to work and create despite all of that and carve out a place for myself in the world#then i think that’d help prove to myself that i was made for this even if it is not by “fate” and it is more so by my own pursuit and doing#out of wanting to make stuff i care about and being able to share that with people who like and even understand it#even if it came to the bare minimum for like *character standing against a blank background* lol#it’d all still feel important to me to share…i’d be proud of myself
