everyone who’s been reblogging my silly “classics are good, actually” post with tags that are like “this is so true EXCEPT FOR [X]”, i hope you’re pleased with yourself because now i have no choice but to read every book you’re complaining about out of spite.

#and like. i would have gotten to them eventually anyway - but now i have to do it next year probably. :/#the inconvenience of it all #truly some of the worst media decisions i have EVER made have been because someone said ‘this is bad don’t watch it’#and i took that as a challenge #and i’m not about to stop now #i’m glad that post got notes though bc i’m definitely not saying anything NEW #but most often on here i see classic books and films lauded for their artistic and historical value #whereas i wanted also to discuss their emotional value - which is easily overlooked by those who haven’t read or watched them #so like. glad people are relating #everyone tagging their faves: i love you #everyone tagging books they hate bc they had to read them for class: i hate you and i’m stronger than you #the two people who independently tagged the film i made the post about: we shall have a spring wedding #the approximately seven people who tagged a film i thought was just okay: i begrudgingly respect you
