20. What's a totally random and useless fact that you know?

King Peter I of Portugal fell in love with a woman named Ines, from Galicia, Spain, when he was still a prince. She was his wife's lady-in-waiting. When his wife died, in the 1300s, his dad, the then king, tried to have him remarried but he refused to marry anyone but Ines. So his father, the king, banished her and later had her killed. When Peter found out, he hunted down the 3 men sent to kill her and publicly executed them.

When he finally became king, he allegedly had her body exhumed, sat her on the throne, crowned her queen and had everyone who'd denied them marriage kiss her cadaver's hand.

Which is why, in the Portuguese language, there is the saying "Inês é morta" (Ines is dead) which is supposed to mean, like, "whatever, it's already done, it doesn't matter anymore".

You're welcome for this beyond useless piece of trivia and here is one of the paintings based on it.

21. Who knows you the best?

Me. While I love ask games and little trivia bits about me, I don't think anyone really knows me. I don't really let people in.

Photo albums with my childhood from like 0-6.

40. do you like the beach? do you prefer it sunny or cloudy?

okay, hear me out. I love beaches but...... rocky beaches > sandy beaches. I once camped on a sandy beach and that experience really scarred me LMAO. I mean, I'll be so happy at either type of beach because I love the ocean (water sign cliché) but, rocky beaches really have my heart. I've found some of my favorite rocks from them hehe <3

cloudy weather in general makes me elated but cloudy beaches are especially sooo nice to me. I have a very fond memory of going to a beach in fall and not being able to see across the sound because of the fog. like I couldn't see past ten feet because it was just a block of low hanging clouds. it was so magical and sexily eerie 🤧
