Alrighty, krakenblr. It's been a tough stretch and there's no guarantee that it will get better tonight (or anytime soon) but I think one of the most beautiful things about this community (and Seattle fans in general, tbh) is how ride or die we are. If this ship is going to sink, none of us are jumping over the edge, even though it's on fire and collapsing in on itself as it goes. We're going to be okay at some point. Even if it hurts now, it can't suck forever.

we won the hockey last night!!!!!!!! point streak point streak point streak i love winning!!!!
i didn't work today!!! i love not working!!!!!
had verrrrry good coffee this morning and did most of my fondue shopping on the way home!
met up with @drgrlfriend for brunch and had a delicious omelette and a chestnut crepe mmmmmm. also she made me banana bread!!!! and i love banana bread and it's so good and it's going to be a great fondue dipper, i'm so excited to cut it up and dip it in chocolate

good stuff 1-9-24
woke up to a bunch of comments on my fics from several different people, which was really unexpected and very very unusual for me, my fics are all old and i almost never got comments anymore. was really unexpected and really nice :)
i had my annual performance review at work today and it went pretty much the best possible ever. i was pretty confident in the quality of the work i produced this year, but my manager was like even more positive about it than i would have expected, and i felt really seen and appreciated. and it sounds like they are trying to cook up a new position for me to grow into over the next year, and that would be really nice. my manager and i get along super well, i'm really grateful for how things played out with that whole situation, and it was really nice to hear her basically say that she didn't have any negative things to say about me at all.
there was a huge storm and i was worried i was gonna lose power and miss hockey but i did not lose power and i did not miss hockey!!
the HOCKEY!! was so good!!! there hasn't been hockey since thursday, that is too long, but they played great and they won and i love winning and i love hockey!!!
