( ooc )#tbd.#bg3 spoilers#also like i know in the actual game#the rolls are all persuasion#but for anais it's deception#if i were doing it at a table i would make an argument to the dm#that deception is an appropriate alternative roll for that dialogue#bc in anais's case they're bullshitting but they need him to believe it#and to believe that THEY believe it#or it doesn't work#so yeah that is the argument i would make to roll deception#(and i'm p sure my current dm would at least consider it)#(perhaps even my first dm also bc he was constantly encouraging us to make a case for different rolls if we felt they made sense)
