It's the oldest move in the book but not one we actually see in BL all that often. @absolutebl I know we see it other times but it feels very underutilized in BL, honestly. I love it. Oh, Thames.

Oh no, they're adorable and I love them both very much. I'm in real danger here.Thames is unashamed and open and bit and Mon is quiet and standoffish and I love it. The bright actor in dark colors who brings excitement and eagerness and the more brightly dressed architect carries his own fears and his own trauma deep down.

And we got this closeness and Thames already so interested and so invested in getting closer to Mon, in finding a space where they can both be again and again, constantly inviting him out and over and just trying to find more time together. Plus, a loom!

But then this. Oh, the quiet pain and the way he instant hides it when he recognizes Mon and invites him to his grandmother's place and just instantly seeks that connection again.

I already love them. This show is gonna hurt and it's gonna touch on so much trauma and so much loneliness and isolation and past hurts and I am absolutely here for it.

I love the guardian spirit but I do love Thames even more. This little actor who's now stuck as a soul but has been looking at Mon for so long and now has a chance to be with him and is going to take it because no one else can see him. Thames is a needy extrovert and I love that for him.

But also yeah falling in love with someone's spirit while they're disconnected from their body is never a good idea. It either ends with a fucked up memory or something else horribly wrong.

I do love a ghost being scared of ghosts, though. One of my favorite little tropes.

(And, hey, how much do we wanna bet that his disconnect from his body is connected to his inability to remember how he ended up in the accident and that the realizations of who did that to him are going to both tear him apart and provide framework for so much more of the show. lol got proved right before the end of the episode. Obviously won't be Ton, though. There's no way. He's too obvious.)

I love Thames and Mon equally. I love these boys so much and the whole dynamic and the flirting and the fears and the way Mon smiles in bed away from him and the way the world stops around them or at least slows down.

I am definitely enjoying it here.

And it's a bonus to see Bonus as well!

My heart breaks for Thames trying to turn the girl down that Ton liked only for Ton to get so upset and then retaliating by stealing his lover when all Thames did was be liked by someone.

He describes himself as not having many friends and you see it. So many people are quick to make assumptions about him and quick to blame him because he's famous and attractive and people tend to like him on a surface level.

But he's not close to anyone and he's actually so lonely and so isolated despite his happy face and his regular smiles and laughter and I love him so much.
