Tony glanced up at the gate and sighed softly, shaking his head. Over the years, he had spent many times going into this compound, and then being kicked out of it after about an hour. He remembered when Rhodey was stationed here years and years ago, and how he would always manage to get in despite Sourpatches direct pleading command for him to stay away from the compound because all he ever ended up doing was piss off some officials. Time went on and he didn't need to visit as much anymore because Rhodes was out and about, finally might he had, yet he was positive that the men here remembered him. How could they not?

Pulling up to the booth near the gate, Tony gave his name and his purpose for being there, only to persuade them when he waved his shiny little SHIELD badge at them. Suuuuckers. Giving them a grin, he revved the engine, probably a bit too loud, and gunned it, making sure the way was clear first of course.

He was a man with a plan, and that plan was to do whatever it took to convince Ross to join sides with him, at least for now, in regards to helping to find his friend, Bruce. Of course, that meant Tony needed to sabotage half of the other man's attempts and resources, but so be it. Getting out of the car, Tony looked around when he came up to what he knew to be the General's direct office. As he jogged up the steps to the front, Tony cleared his throat and shook his head slightly to clear his head before knocking. He had to get this to work. He had to.

Placing herself at table near the door, Betty sighed, running a hand through her hair and watching as people came and left. Frowning for a long moment, she shook off her apprehension and ordered herself a coffee. Maybe Caffeine would help to settle her nerves. It wouldn't be that bad, she told herself. They were in public, she had her cell phone. She could always call Tony if she needed to. Hopefully things wouldn't get out of hand. At least she'd gotten there early enough to pick a seat. Close to the door, it would be easy to make an escape if she had to.

An escape, she almost laughed when she thought about it. Who planned escapes from their own parents? Taking a sip of her coffee when it arrived, she held the warm liquid in her mouth for a moment and closed her eyes. Hopefully he'd be there soon. The quicker they got this meeting over with the better.
