One more post for today

Me and @curiousechoo were roleplaying and I decided to insert some doodles in it

Basically Soundwave brainwashed Nightracer’s partner like in Human Error and he had to deal with all this together with Blurr. And the irony is that the two bots hate each other after an incident in the past (haha lore) so it makes everything even harder

I know that Cybertronians can’t cry (at least in TFA), but I still doodled it because the scene was very emotional

The animation is very bad quality because it was rushed

Funny - I was actually listening to the nonsense playlist tonight. BTW - songs from the Lost soundtrack are such a good fit. So melancholy 😔

LOST continues to inspire my stuff! it was probably the show that most influenced me as a writer because it was on when i was 10-16, and i did not miss an episode. i still really love it, even as i understand it is wild and nonsensical at times and definitely making it all up as it went along.

[watching LOST is a great way to study JJ Abrams as a filmmaker; pros and cons, highs and lows, great directing and meh writing, mystery box cons and fantastic casting; all of it!]

the Nonsense was very inspired by LOST, both visually and thematically. that could be its own post. but i’m pretty sure that’d only be interesting to maybe like 5 people, so ANYWAY

the music is **fire emoji**.

Composer Michael Giacchino also did the music for ROGUE ONE. he was originally set to score THE FORCE AWAKENS [Giacchino scores almost all of Abrams’ works] but then John Williams changed his mind, and decided he did want to score the STAR WARS trilogy after all. by way of apology, Abrams had Giacchino cameo in TFA; he’s one of the stormtroopers who Kylo Ren orders to search Poe on Jakku, in the beginning.

Giacchino regularly comes up with punny or simply funny titles for his soundtracks. so some of the “alternate” titles for ROGUE ONE songs include “Jyncarcerated”, “Erso in Vain”, “Bazed and Confused”, “Transmission Impossible”, “Live and Let Jedi”, “World’s Worst Vacation Destination”*.

song titles for LOST include “The Eyeland”, “Hollywood and Vines”, “World’s Worst Beach Party”*, “Run Away! Run Away!”, “Thinking Clairely”, “Locke’d Out Again”, “Monsters Are Such Innnnteresting People”, “All’s Forgiven... Except Charlie”, “Peace Through Superior Firepower”, “Leggo My Eko”, “In with a KABOOM!”

*I’m 1000% sure the reason ROGUE ONE does not have a song alternately titled “World’s Worst Beach Party” is because Giacchino already used that title for LOST.
