not really an ask but an answer toward context since it was stated the relationship between Scout and Spy wasn't wholly clear.
In one of Valves TF2 comics it was revealed that Red Spy is Blue Scouts biological father, and while not proud of him still loved him. Going so far as to avoid killing him and often using his disguise to infiltrate Blue base.
This is only a distinction for Red Spy and Blu Scout, there is no known relation between Blu Spy and Red Scout.
