Be attentive while you’re here, were Ambrose’s words to her after Raine had gotten out of the car after their arrival at the Hoshido household. If you aren’t any use to her success than I’ll utilize you in some fashion to motivate her.
Laurent didn’t like how he smiled at them upon saying ‘motivate’ – he seemed to imply something more. It sounded sinister, which worried her greatly for her sister’s safety. Reading into it wouldn’t do her any good, so instead she tried to focus on gathering intel associated with the Holy Grail War. Although not Saber’s Master, they had connected with the Servant – she was to rely on her and Lars’s Magic Circuits to supply her with Mana.
And it has been awhile since she saw Saber, where had she gone? Naturally, it’s possible she shifted to her invisible form but they had walked in together. She passes by the rock garden, but catches the sight of familiar curls and blue.
“Ah, Saber...there you are!” Laurent glides across the floor, approaching their Servant. “...I hadn’t seen you around, nor by Raine so I had gotten worried.”
Raine hadn’t been with Ambrose, they had seen her interacting with the Master of the house a few minutes before. She pauses, then tilts her head, “....how are you doing?”

Father wanted to test her mettle today, so he had taken her away from the property to train Raine’s magical prowess. While she hated it, she tried her best while combating against him. However, things had become a little hairy after she barely avoided fire magic her father thrust upon her. She was able to retaliate and caught him off guard and they ended it for the day.
Upon returning to their temporary home, Laurent had handed off the message from Hoshido’s Master to her and they gathered around in the kitchen to watch. Ambrose had joined her siblings, leaning on the frame of the doorway and they watched until the end.
“...Now this is unexpected,” Her father comments first, “Hoshido has always been a generous family, honorable, charitable–– I’d expect nothing less from them.”
Raine narrows her eyes to the side, but doesn’t face him. Instead she rubs at the light burn marks on her arms,
“Too generous maybe, what if someone caused trouble...? ”
She turns toward Saber, with a curious expression. “...It could be a gamble if we attended, especially from the reports we gathered on... Caster and Assassin’s Masters. What do you think, Saber?”

Preparations were complete, her family stood in another room to prevent her concentration from being broken. Raine breaths deeply, then exhales, standing outside of the summoning circle. They’ve been waiting for this moment, all three of them, once the ritual was completed meant that man would give them information for info on their mother. The catalyst has set close to the summoning circle, a book that had been found her father from their family’s archive.
The young magus outstretches her hand in front of the summoning circle, while her gaze half liddedly gazes upon the circle. She says incantation proudly aloud, which leaves her lips fluidly as she continues to raise her voice as the light grows brighter and brighter.
“In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer. Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead!”
“You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance!!” A veil of light is cast o’er her eyes, stealing away her sight. But the dust soon settles, and she feels a rush of warm air emit around her. The command seals carve into her skin, showing her family’s seal, it is done. A giddy feeling snakes around her frame, while she tries to remain calm, with her feet steady.
