Thinking about AJ teasing the cm fans in a live stream yesterday about how there will be a big jemily moment in s17. Idk what it is but I hope it means JJ and Emily will have some sort of meaningful interaction after the lack of interactions between them in s16

I was thinking it would be some sort of interaction and I kinda trust her saying something about it more than maybe Paget hahaha. And it’s an interesting word choice, “ultimate”. I was thinking maybe because Emily’s going to be loaded with a bunch of work, especially with the case, Bailey’s death, and being unit and section chiefs, JJ might step in as unit chief, or that Emily would ask if she wanted to lead the team.

Me too, but I'm not holding my breath for literally anything in the new season tbrh. Lest I get my hopes up 😅
But damn, they all look so good. Even if we don't get actual scenes, at least they're all in costume here, so we can pretend it's the characters all together. 🤔 (Mainly because JARA!!)

thinking about the cliffhanger in 16x05 and suddenly I imagine Garcia taking her anger out on Tyler again and blaming him for JJ and Luke being in danger (even if Tyler had little to do with whatever trap Elias and Benjamin set up in the storage unit)

So the fandom has called and there will be a Matt Simmons Appreciation Week. It's fitting considering that Daniel Henney's birthday is this month and what better way to celebrate by acknowledging Matt Simmons.
The appreciation week will start on November 21st and end on the 28th
here are the prompts for gifs:

I think about the fact that JJ's hair was mostly straight in the first five seasons and season 6 onwards, she sports curly and wavy hair more often

I'm still wary that even with Will's absence, I do not trust the show that they'll give the rest of the cast not named Rossi more screentime. Even though Reid and Matt are no longer in the show, s16 still heavily focused on Rossi, Elias, Tyler, Will and Bailey. I'm skeptical that things will change for the better regarding the female cast and Luke having more focus in s17
Yep, exactly that. With all the rumours that MGG is returning, it's just gonna be another entire season focusing on the men - - because hey, that's what this entire show has been for 16 seasons, so why change now 🫠🙄
I was incredibly disappointed by CME, if I'm honest. For the first time in the show's history they had a 2:1 ratio of female cast members to male, AND YET THE ENTIRE THING FOCUSED ON MEN??
Like you said, it wasn't just Rossi either. They focused on the unsub, a suspect/victim(?), and the husband of a female lead instead of, idk, just letting the female characters exist within their own storylines 😩
