Chapter 17
Fandom: Outer Wilds
Summary: The light of the exploding singularity is brighter than anything Obsidian has ever imagined. Breathtaking as a spark of hope when they thought everything was lost. Obsidian would know, they’d worn that feeling like a second skin, loop, after loop, after loop. The feeling still holds them even as pure light, pure possibility, consumes them. Then, nothing.
Obsidian wakes up…

Chapter Preview
"Where are you going?" Gossan asks. They're suiting up along with Feldspar. Both clearly plan to follow. Obsidian is a little surprised Gossan is letting Feldspar go. But maybe it's just the unspoken truth in the venture that nobody let's Feldspar do anything.
"The next window to Ash Twin is in fifteen minutes." Obsidian informs them. "I can check that the area is safe for Tektite and Marl to join us. Hornfels and Slate can test the Ghost Matter Theory while I do that. Then in another two hours you all will be able to join me."
"Well you’re not going by yourself.” Gossan says. “You’re still technically grounded.”

nebby reminds me of ametrine, tektite, and blue goldstone!

ametrine: look at these! they can have such a pretty blend and gradient of colors, and feature some of the main colors of nebby's color palette. its a natural mix of amethyst and citrine, reminiscent of cosmog's ability to evolve into either solgaleo or lunala. it even has each of their signature colors!
tektite: formed when meteorites hit the earth and melt dirt and minerals into glass. comes from space/not from earth, just like nebby. also kinda mysterious and pretty
blue goldstone: look at it. its dark blue and sparkly and literally looks like a night sky. it feels like a perfect match to me.

“You said that you’re telling Tektite that you’re not concerned about us hurting the village, but are very concerned about the danger we present to ourselves?” Gabbro states.
“Yeah. No offense.” Marl says, “I mean I get it’s been rough. I just think you need a little help learning to live again.”
