the sheer romance of the new chapter
like, that was kinda boring sense I'm here for the shounen and I'm not a huge Sumire and Hakubo shipper so this didn't interest me, it was interesting and a nice chapter, but that felt so out of place with the rest of the story
it didn't really feel like a breath of fresh air, it just felt like something I didn't need or could have been done better :(
the lightheartedness they had after they finally saw each other for so long was just, so wrong? we were all expecting something more sad, but this was just comedy? the ending was fine, it got a bit dimmer but the beginning was just something I didn't like, and I've NEVER hated on a new chapter?? but this just felt like it wasn't displayed very well, but oh well
AidaIro is still an amazing writer and I still love the series so let's hope we get more sunflower trio next chapter bc this romantic chapter was just...mmmn
also more Mitsuba, we miss Mitsuba

i cant stop thinking about ashk 27 after the new chapter, it was a story where all the characters were interacting regardless of being a supernatural or not, kiiinda like what's happening in the storyline right now?
the main people who faced nene after the "doppelganger" appeared at the door were teru, natsuhiko, akane, and later hanako. the same people who were currently conscious during the clock keepers court trial.
and when nene tries to turn to kou, asking where his rateijou is, he's confused, because in nene's dream, supernaturals never existed. therefore kou never was an exorcist.
the clock keepers went back in time, changing something in 1968, that changed their present, or as akane said it "create a new present". aoi's hair is in its loops because there's movement in her hand, because she never went to the far shore, because the severance never happened, because the school supernaturals never existed.
but ykw just watch as ch112 is completely different than what everyone's theorizing, and this entire post is full of false info... thanks for reading ig :,)
