"Hhhhhhhgghhh," said Mr. Benedict, or at least, that's what it sounded like to Milligan. "Milligan, hold my hand."

Milligan blinked. "What?"

"Please hold my hand," he said, almost a hiss, fingers wiggling sharply, half pleading and half demanding. Which shouldn't have been cute. But it was.

Milligan took his hand, confused but obliging. Mr. Benedict squeezed a little—seemingly as reassurance to himself, possibly without realizing—and Milligan had a moment to register he was looking at something with increasing panic before said something walked directly up to them.

He was a tall man in an expensive suit, with blue eyes, perfectly coiffed dark hair, and an annoyingly sharp jawline. Blandly handsome. He looked like a lawyer, one from a TV show that was specifically designed to look as comically soulless and corporate as possible.

"Nicky!" said the complete stranger, grinning widely. He had a sort of obnoxious tone, like a jock shouting someone's name in a far too small space even though they were most certainly not friends. "How are you, baby!"

"Please don't call me that," said Mr. Benedict, small and irritated (although Milligan wasn't sure if he was reacting to "Nicky" or "baby", as either seemed likely), but the stranger plowed right over him as if didn't hear.

"I haven't seen you in ages!"

"Yes, there is a reason for that, Charles," he said, tightly, and 'Charles' gave a fake grin.

"Charlie! C'mon, you know it's Charlie for you."

"Charles," said Mr. Benedict again. "We were. just leaving. Really."

"Oh, we should grab a drink," said Charles, once again completely ignoring what Mr. Benedict had said. "For old times' sake?"

"What do you even want, Charles?" said Mr. Benedict, and this time he sounded not just exasperated but tired. "You know quite well I'm not missing the old times."

"Oh, come on, Nicky—" "—don't call me that—" "—it wasn't all bad, was it?"

"We," said Mr. Benedict again, emphasizing the word, and his hand was shaking a little in Milligan's, "Are going now."

Charles's gaze dropped to their hands and something tightened in his brow, although the shark smile never so much as flickered.

Milligan... did not love the image that was forming, at the moment.

Charles looked back up at Nicholas, laughing a little. "Oh, you found someone else who can put up with you?" he said, and Milligan felt how Nicholas flinched a little. "I mean, well done, we're a rare breed, you know. How does he deal with the talki—"

Now. Milligan was, despite all of his skills, very much not one for violence. He didn't want to frighten or intimidate people.

But. well. When you're protecting those that you lo—care about... a little intimidating never hurt anyone, did it?

Charles seemed to be a tall man, but when straightening to his full height, Milligan was taller. He stepped forward—not letting go of Nicholas's hand—and said, very quiet, very low, "I think. you should go."

"New friend's a little possessive," said Charles. "Or something... more? He does seem out of your league, but no accounting for taste. Seems more likely you just asked him t—"

Milligan was very, very close to punching a man. He did not generally enjoy punching people. He found that Charles may be an exception. He wasn't sure if that made him a bad person or not.

He realized, abruptly, he'd spaced out slightly. When he blinked, Nicholas was cringing more and more into himself, and Charles was saying something about being perfectly adequate in other areas and Milligan suddenly decided it didn't really matter what it made him, because at the moment, what it would make Charles was quiet.

Although Nicholas currently had his dominant hand, the other was perfectly free. So without letting go, he raised it, and gave Charles a swift punch to the nose.

Charles made a very offended, shocked, and pained noise as he clutched his nose, which was now bleeding.

"He...! He punched me!" he shouted.

"Oops," deadpanned Milligan. "My hand slipped."

"I'm a lawyer," Charles said, almost a breathless screech. Called it, Milligan thought. "You heathen, you beast—"

"Say that again," said Nicholas, actually sounding angry now, "and you will have to explain to the doctors how you got your nose broken twice."

Oh. That was actually pretty sweet, considering, although Milligan had no idea if he could actually throw a punch. Maybe he should teach him, actually.

"You're threatening me!" Charles said, but his voice was higher now, and he was still clutching his bleeding nose. Any bravado he'd had was dripping down his face now. He'd rather lost his intimidation factor.

"You would know," muttered Nicholas. And then, louder, "We're going now, great seeing you, hope we never meet again, goodbye." And he finally managed to escape, practically dragging Milligan away in haste while Charles scrambled to pick up his briefcase in order to follow, all while still holding his nose.

He yelled some rude things afterwards, but soon they were around a corner and gone.

Nicholas didn't let go of his hand even when they were out of sight, likely unintentionally, but he seemed to be feeling better for it, so Milligan didn't pull away either.

(Some time later, they'd talk about it—Nicholas admitting Charles used to be different, although it was a long time ago, and wondering if he'd perhaps it wasn't that he'd been different but only that he'd stopped hiding it so much.

...They do not—either of them—admit to how nice it was, despite the circumstances, to hold hands. At least, not for quite a while.)

He admits to panicking when grabbing his hand, hoping he'd go away if he saw Nicholas was attached, because he'd always been persistent.

And a brief agreement that while violence is, generally, not preferred, sometimes, things happened.

So, here we are in 2023.

In addition to Direct to Streaming Christmas movies, I've been throwing on the Hallmark Channel since way back in November.

Apparently what both Jamie and I need this year is to just zone out for 90 minutes from time to time, and to be able to talk over a movie featuring characters we don't really care about a whole lot. And that's absolutely the intention of a Hallmark Christmas movie - a minimum of drama and plot, reasonably good looking people predictably falling for each other, and a happy ending that guarantees these people will now be as boring as you are, because the events of this movie was the biggest thing to ever happen to them.

I copped to watching the film in 2015 and wrote my treatise on Hallmark movies back in 2017, and I think it shocked a lot of you to find out how very, very much I know about these movies that so many so casually get sniffy about (with good reason, tbh). But a lot has occurred since 2017. We're in the dark future of 2023 now, and the world is not what it was.

A very, very big part of me would love to know how Hallmark works and how these movies come into being. I have some theories based loosely on what I knew from a friend's mom who wrote Harlequin Romance novels, but there's zero confirmation on any of this. I'd just be guessing.

But it's not a mistake that these movies have similarities that go beyond "girl with a Christmas-themed name goes to small town, meets guy in plaid". It's an endless sea of similarities, and there's practically nothing else like it in media - like, they get to do drafts and check stats to see what works in real time as they release 85 new movies each year (this is barely hyperbole - there are 42 in 2023). But I strongly suspect Hallmark is cooking up packages they send out to potential writers with a list of things that their movie should contain, and then they make most of those scripts. Again - I don't know this, but otherwise the similarities would only happen because of Holiday Magic.

Over the years the movies have, in fact, changed as Hallmark has tweaked their formula. Folks who don't actually watch Hallmark Christmas movies assume they're still making the same plot where a young woman realizes she just fell in love with single Santa, but, ho ho NO! That hasn't been a thing for years. They still do royalty, but they tweak it quite a bit. And I am pretty sure I haven't seen a single movie this year about a young woman returning home or stuck in a small town who then meets a kind-of-handsome man in plaid who makes her want to give up her big city dreams (although I've seen men coming to a small town). And not a baking contest in sight.

In the mid-2010's, Hallmark decided quantities of movies was better than quality of movies. And that had multiple effects that carry through to today.

1) The era of FX is done. That means no more movies where they fly to the North Pole or an elf magically decorates a tree. So, no more stories with magical beings, because it means less movies if the budget went to CGI Northpoles and extras in elf costumes. And fewer movies means people tune away faster.

2) So long, star power. Which, honestly, is kind of a bummer. A *huge* draw for me initially was seeing "oh, what's that actress I recognize from that show from 10 years ago doing in this? What's her deal?" But it turns out it's way cheaper to go hire a random Canadian actress than get, say, Alicia Witt. With Canadian local talent, you can make two or three movies, and people will just leave their TV on because they haven't seen that movie yet, but they've seen the Alicia Witt movie and might click away.

Now, people really follow these movies, and that means that the fans have sort of made these Canadian stars into their own niche type of celebrity. They follow their favorite Hallmark stars, because of course they do. Heck, I have a couple. And Hallmark is always trying new people on to see who is going to land.

And, you can go see these actors at a Con. Because of course you can.*

Like I say - Over the years, you could guess there were themes handed down from Hallmark central. "This year we're doing movies about soldiers and/ or veterans", etc... It was always a trick to spot what the new thing was that year. I suspect that they can have, say, Lacey Chabert show up and read five or fifteen scripts with essentially the same premise, pick the one she wants to do, and the rest get handed out to the Hallmark B and C-List stars, and they're going to make the movies, anyway - just with a lower budget.

Themes this year got a little... hard to pin down. In 2023, I think they ran multiple new ideas.

1) Drama. These movies have always had basically the same source of drama - someone misunderstands someone else, and this leads to a downturn in the blossoming romance, but then they figure out it's a silly miscommunication, and head right back to the absolute certainty these people are absolutely going to end Christmas Eve in the sack.

But not so this year. This year, they introduced new plots that were - weirdly stressful. Which is not exactly why I thought these movies existed. Characters were legit stressed out, not Hallmark stressed out - where they would just talk through the issue at hand while having coffee with a pal and walking down a picturesque street. Now it's people mad at parents, not sure who their parents are, and I think I saw two movies where the house construction wasn't done for Christmas.

Look, Hallmark, I don't need reality butting in. Don't get cute now. I want to have these movies on as wallpaper at worst and entertainment I can forget about fifteen minutes later as my best scenario. I do not want to deal with generational trauma or people dealing with the stuff I'm avoiding by watching your sorta-pretty-people handing each other coffee.

2) International travel. Uh, look. This was mostly Americans going to Europe and exploring their European roots, which is something Americans think they should do, but, honestly - we shouldn't. Nothing sucks more than a 10th generation American deciding they need to talk about how "German" they are or whatever. You're from Cleveland, it's fine.

And, look, I'm not sure in 2023 that what you need to be doing is getting people really excited about and romanticizing their European heritage. Like - there's a name for that, Hallmark.

That said, it's wild to see Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf in Ireland doubling for Scotland, claiming a Duke-dom. Amazing. No notes.

3) Why not a mystery? Well, Hallmark has been defying Lifetime's belief that all people want is stories of domestic situations gone bad and traded that for low-stakes "cozy mysteries" for years. Now their Christmas movies and mystery movies met under the mistletoe and had a baby. A kind of bland, boring baby.

Look, I get that they have a whole channel called "Hallmark Mysteries". I guess it was inevitable someone would decide we'd need to crack the case of the reindeer ornament or whatever, but this is putting a hat on a hat.

A few years back something shifted down Hallmark way. And it kind of needed to. Audiences were noticing these movies were maybe a little too lily-white, which is just not how America works, so the movies began to feel... weird. Why *not* cast more people of more diverse backgrounds? And not just as background characters in the inevitable Christmas Eve singalong sequence that wraps the movie?

I'd say Hallmark has stepped up their game. As always, it's imperfect. But it's not the WASPy world it was back in 2017. There are movies branded "Mahogany" made by and for Black audiences (Mahogany is also a card line from Hallmark). Queer characters get larger parts and are not just coded and a component of the Big City lifestyle that must be abandoned. There are Hanukkah movies. I will now stop listing non-straight, White things one can be, but Hallmark has found diversity, and the creeping feeling maybe you're supporting White Nationalism by watching these movies is reduced a bit.

The move to diversify, however, was not going to work for the former head of Hallmark programming and former Hallmark darling Candace Cameron Bure, who is not as insane as her brother, but who went to start her own TV network just so she could keep making movies just about straight, white people. Which is absolutely telling on yourself, but ok.

So, Bure is now at Great American Family, a network I cannot get at my house and have not missed. But she also landed several of her fellow Hallmark darlings, from Chad Michael Murray to Danica McKellar. So that's where they went.

Some stuff we noticed this year:

The international movies were kind of weird, with the movies filmed in Europe but starring people of the wrong nationality as the people from that country. Irish people as both Scottish and Norwegian people. Just... make an Irish movie.

They kept casting people literally decades too young for the roles they were playing. It was *weird*.

The male talent is now almost exclusively from a very small Hallmark stable, and I have several questions about why I have no facial recognition with any of these guys, learning they've been in 10 of these that I've seen when I look at IMDB

I saw like one thing baked all year, and it was in Norway

The writing is trying to be quirky, and I'm not sure the directors and editors have caught up. It feels almost like the actors have gone off script sometimes or an idea isn't landing because the film just doesn't want to deal with, like "oh, isn't this weird ornament funny?" and we keep going back to it, and... it's not funny?

I couldn't tell you which movies Jamie and I have watched so far - it's a blur. I've probably seen... at least 12 or 15 in part, and that included probably 7 from start to finish. We watched

the oddly snowless Norwegian movie

the one where Lacey Chabert goes to Ireland Scotland

a movie where Kimberley Sustad wears an elephant necklace

one where Lacey Chabert lives in the worst neighborhood imaginable where one is forced to love Christmas

One where Autumn Reeser keeps coming back to a tree lot, thirsty for the tree guy

One where some dumb kid goes off in a boat on the ocean by himself at night on Christmas and kind of ruins the day for everyone

And a bunch I've already forgotten

And many, many parts of movies

Anyway, it's a weird period of transition. I don't blame Hallmark for trying new things. Incremental novelty is going to be the thing that keeps people coming back.

I know it's probably a little mysterious as to why I'm back watching these movies. Again. But at this point I'm just watching to see, year-over-year, what they're going to do next. I guess on some level I enjoy also having something on in which I have no real investment and nothing is asked of me as a viewer, which is what I think a lot of people watch reality TV for. And it's a sort of cultural study at this point.

Part of me will also admit - at the end of the year, I just don't want to deal with, and do not have time for, anything super serious. Which is why I resent very important Oscar movies getting dumped in December. I have neither time nor inclination. But, sure, I'll watch some would-be country music star discover found family in a town with a name like "Festive Corners" or whatever. That sounds about like what I've got mental bandwidth for til January 2nd.

I don't really have access to Lifetime or other channels doing this type of movie, so y'all will need to report in if there's anything to discuss.

aaaa i can't wait until you do! aloe vera is a nice plant to take care of hehe.

whew this is going to be,,, quite the exhaustive list. going from favorite to least favorite under the cut (although i love all my plants):

01. calathea warscewiczii (velvet calathea) - i've only had her for two days but if anything happened to her i would kill everyone in this room and then myself. half jokes aside, the leaves of this plants are sooo velvety, i can't get enough. my absolute favorite, i pick favorites and she is one of them

02. scindapsus pictus argyraeus (satin pothos) aka Argent - my BABY. beautiful (especially with that silver speckled pattern hhh), grows quickly even during the wintertime, easy to take care of. she has it all 🥰 even spider mites (i think)

03. monstera adansonii (swiss cheese vine) aka Hoothoot v2- she lookin a little scraggly right now but i love her (@animatedarchives iykyk)

04. ficus tineke (variegated rubber tree) aka Rococo - the thing is lowkey giving me stress but the variegation on her leaves is beautiful so she gets a pass 🥰

05. peperomia 'bamboo stalks' - the cutest 🥺 thing 🥺 it looks like lil mini bamboo, i can't wait until the baby grows more hehe

06. senecio rowleyanus (string of pearls) - again, another really cute plant that i can't wait to see grow, especially from a hanging basket 😌 just looks like bubbles in a pot and i can't get enough

07. calathea 'white fusion' aka Zephyr - kind of a brat but the pretty leaves make it worth it. i am trying so hard, SO HARD, to keep this mf alive. hopefully the higher humidity in the greenhouse cabinet will help, especially once i have the fans and humidifier going in there.

08. tradescantia nanouk - i've been wanting one of the other species (tradescantia fluminensis) for a while and while this may not be the one i initially wanted, she still cute 🥰

09. oxalis triangularis - this one looks like butterflies tbh. enough said, 11/10 (fun fact, the wood sorrel is also bokuto's birth flower 🥰)

10. peperomia 'silver ripple' - okay lowkey i'm still not sure how to take care of her but i heard they were kinda bratty so- wish me luck (hella pretty tho)

11. dischidia ruscifolia variegata (variegated million hearts) - it's,,, so teeny n cute, and when fully grown it looks super lush so i'm excited for my little baby cuttings to grow hehe

12. calathea 'medallion' - cute and i rescued her from costco for the low price of $15. cute but probably has spider mites so i'm lowkey too scared to touch it-

13. philodendron brasil - the variegation is fun to look at, easy to take care of and also fast growing. kinda basic but i love her for it 😌

14. marble queen pothos aka Medusa - stunning variegation, thankfully not a brat

15. njoy pothos aka Baby Ace (@ soph 👀) - the thing looks PAINTED. so so pretty but i've been lowkey neglecting it bc the soil got mold from being so damp and i got grossed out- still need to repot her into a better draining pot

16. golden pothos aka Khrysos - basic houseplant, hella hard to kill, and the variegation is cute. can't wait for it to start vining and look super lush

18. african violet aka Chloris - lowkey i impulse bought this because of it's variegation but have no idea how to take care of it- she's doing pretty okay tho!!

19. variegated creeping fig - kinda neutral about this one since she's been giving me nothing so far in the time i've had her. all in due patience though, esp since it's winter + probably does better in higher humidity

20. hypoestes phyllostachia 'white splash' (white polka dot plant) aka Khione - look if i could give up on this bitch i would. girl has been doing nothing but losing her variegation and dropping leaves. trying to save her though bc i would feel bad tossing her out so fingers crossed ;;

just finished writing this and realized how long it got oh jeez i am so sorry. i promise it is just me rambling about nothing and does not require a lot of thought.

i made a playlist of r5's entire discography and am listening to it (in order) because there is something wrong with me. if only it had their very first ever ep on it (ready set rock ep you may have been slight garbage but i don't love you any less for it). oh god i realized i fucked up and didn't add the songs by "ross lynch and r5" from the austin & ally soundtrack. i'm already three songs into louder and they would have been between louder and say you'll stay. what do i have to do is actually one of r5's best songs and i'm pretty sure i remember ross calling it one of his favs fairly recently?? which was so valid of him. anyways. this is now an r5 song ranking. i'm bored and avoiding doing assignments. i'm going to name my top 10 r5 songs off the top of my head. source: me trying to remember every song they've ever released.

no. 1: easy love. nothing comes close. my fav song they ever made. they haven't made anything that even compares since (this is /hj. tde has some valid songs).

no. 2: wishing i was 23. what do you mean i only love this song because of my nostalgia bias no i don't.

no. 6: dark side. so so valid of them. it just fucks. it's so good. it makes u want to dance. u named a fic after a lyric from it which was so valid.

no. 7: did you have your fun? i love this song. no i will not elaborate. it is a sexy song. what's that one lyric from it that's hot. "love me, leave me, left me numb" some lyrics you love for no particular reason and for me that's one of those lyrics.

no. 8: f.e.e.l.g.o.o.d. this has alwayysss been one of my favs by them. since it dropped. some lore about it: the like crowd yelling that's in it they recorded live at a festival they played and i remember there being hype about this being an unreleased song when they had the crowd chanting "f-e-e-l-g-o-o-d" with no explanation. also another fun fact is that the final version of this is just a demo?? source: my slightly faulty memory remembering ross saying something about some demos being so good that you keep them as they are and it later being revealed this was the song he was talking about.

no. 9: i know you got away. sexy song. they released a vocals only version of it (that has apparently since been deleted?? i went to look for it on youtube and couldn't find it?? wtf r5) that has stuck with me ever since.

no. 10: loud. but more specifically the acoustic or live version. this was their encore song that they played to end every show. i MISS IT. it holds a special place in my heart.

honorable mentions: hurts good (a good song and THEIR LAST THEY EVER RELEASED VV SAD), wild hearts (fun fact almost picked a lyric from this song as my senior quote till i found out they didn't write this song), fallin' for you (YOU LIKE MISMATCHED SOCKS WITH POLKA DOTS YOU LIKE YOUR PIZZA COLD I THINK THATS HOT i never saw this song live and i'm still fucking pissed about it ok), do it again (it's such a sweet song :(((( "listen to the airplanes as we count the stars" gives me the same vibes as six feet under the stars), things are looking up (generally just a cute song!! this whole ep is just very good and very cute!! when i saw it live one time during the bridge ross was like "everyone shut up this is my favorite part >:(" and that was so valid of him) i can't say i'm in love (it's just a fun song!! it was a bonus track on sln from another country), trading time (this is the only song from the new addictions ep that i listed and u know what i'm Not sorry)

ok. i will spare you and stop rambling. other honorable mentions: if you have never listened to cool girl (feat. the driver era) by new beat fund i highly recommend. it's an okay song but it was one of the first songs released after they rebranded as tde and includes ross saying motherfucker with his whole chest. i will never again feel what i felt the first time i heard that song having listened exclusively to them as r5 whose songs they couldn't curse in because they were on a disney label.

in conclusion. i miss r5. ross saying fuck is kinda hot. i listened to the entirety of louder while writing this. i am sorry to dump this in your askbox. i still have multiple assignments to do and should probably go to sleep at a decent time. it feels fitting to finally stop writing while easy love is on. when i was 12 and this ep came out i thought "dirtbags" was a curse word and was scared to sing it. they changed it to "douchebags" live.

"Lose Yourself"-- I love this song a lot and I'm glad someone else does too. That's funny, liking "Like This" too much! But yeah, it goes hard and makes you Feel Things, hence it being probably my fav PTG song. And I agree, Shinwon needs to write more music! "Worship U" is so good, it could have been a title track if it had been on another album. I keep forgetting to put "Dazzling" on my ipod, so I haven't listened to it very much. I should rectify this. You seem to favor the Japanese tracks, haha! Do you speak it, or is it just coincidence?

I really applaud you for giving Pentagon a second chance and trying a second song. So many people out there would only listen to one track and then drop the group if they hated it. I can see how past you hated "Humph!," it's got a very simple melody with a basic repeated motif.

omg, "Can You Feel It" also made me a PTG convert! At least, music-wise. The decision to stan Pentagon as people/a group came after that. Summer 2020, some friends were visiting me and they were playing a bunch of k-pop, which was something I hadn't been into for years. So I was like, "Yeah, maybe I should get back into this, can you make me a rec list?" So one friend made me a playlist and I played it at work on YT for like 3 months. Ironically, there was no Pentagon on there, but PTG was connected to a bunch of other groups on the rec list, plus RTK had just happened, so PTG kept showing up on the suggested videos list on the side. I don't know what song I listened to first, but I remember "Violet" was one of the first ones, and I wasn't into it. But once I listened to "Can You Feel It," it was all over. I must have listened to that song like 5 times in a row at work (I usually hate listening to a song on repeat) and actually started searching out their music instead of just casually picking them out from the suggested videos. But then one day I saw the performance video for "Shine," and my life changed. They looked so happy! They were actually enjoying themselves and having fun! They were shouting along with the music and laughing with each other! It was so different from all the other groups I had seen in their performance/dance practice videos. Like, Pentagon members were *real people,* not just performers. And that's when I fell in love and actually started stanning them. I immediately started watching all content I could find of them on YT and began to memorize their faces and names. And now here we are, hahaha!

(I like plenty of other groups' music, but I don't try to learn members' names or watch their non-MV content. That's the difference for me.)

So in the continued string of coincidences, I think we both became Unis around the same time XD

My favoring the Japanese tracks may have to do with the fact that I like the sound of J-pop music or maybe the fact that I’m half Japanese 🤠 As for my speaking it, hahahaha funny you should ask 😅 So my mother never taught me Japanese or spoke it around me because she didn’t know that I’d be able to learn it alongside English. She thought I would get confused and that it would hinder my own English. She’s trying to teach me now as a teenager but it’s a very slow process. However I will admit that I get ecstatic when I’m able to read a sentence written in the language (albeit a really short sentence with basic Kanji characters)

Oh that’s interesting, I actually love 365 Fresh and Retro Future is good as well, I haven’t heard any other song from them, though. Even so, the music can never compare to how Hui looked. OH HOW I MISS TRIPLE H HUI SO

And thank you! That’s what I usually do when it comes to listening to new groups. If I hear a song a like I need to hear other songs to see if I actually like the group’s music, or just that one song. Same with if I don’t like the first song I hear.

Can I just say that Pentagon was the first group with a lot of members I tried to stan, so learning their faces was so hard 😭 Blackpink is what got me into Kpop in 2019 and they were the only group I listened to before Pentagon. I, for the life of me, could not stop mixing up Hyunggu and Hongseok. The only way I could tell them apart was because Hongseok was tanner, so if the lighting in a video was weird it was all over for me. Then I realized that Hongseok had a longer neck, so that helped. On the other hand Shinwon, Hui, Dawn, and Wooseok I could identify right away. Shinwon has a fox like face, Hui has a very straight (almost Greek) nose, almost every time I saw Dawn he had bleach blond hair, and Wooseok has wide eyes and a bigger nose. I would actually like to know, if you remember, who you had trouble identifying and who were easy for you? I always find that different people have have trouble with different Kpop idols which is interesting.

I actually don’t really indulge myself with content from other groups. Sometimes I’ll listen to songs from other groups, for example God’s Menu by Stray Kids is staying on my playlist even though all I know about the group is that there’s a guy named Felix. Also while we’re on the topic, who else do you listen to? I consider myself stans of girl groups Blackpink, Wooah, StayC, and Twice (I just started getting into the last two), boy groups TO1 and Kingdom, and I go HARD FOR KARD!!! Pentagon happens to be my ult group, though.

Hi! You can call me Sinnamon. Or Sin (how edgy is that). I’m looking for roleplay partners to give my sappy heart fuel to live. I’ve been roleplaying for 6 years, though I picked it back up in February after a long, unplanned haitus. I was too busy playing League of Legend and Overwatch I’m sorry I’m a she, or as you may know us better…*flips on nerd glasses, tight shirt, some weird hair style, hot pink headset, an oddly large bust* A GRILL GAMER. I’m also 18+ ��Style🔴 I don’t actually have enough time to sit still and type out a long, long novel as a reply. Regularly. Because I like to reply fast, I really do, and typing a novel is a turn off, especially when I’m required to do so. I suppose it’s really basic, but no one-liners, as they give me too little to work with. More or less the length of my intro up there 🔝 🔴I’m interested in…🔵You! Just joking. Maybe. Anyways. For genres, I like romance, fantasy, action, anything. I’d prefer less Creepypasta-ish stuff? If I had to name my roleplay genre interests I’d call it ‘Fanfiction’. It’d be noice if the guy is taller. Not 2 feet higher but like 'head under chin’ higher and stuff. Also, if the moment is especially soulful, I like to insert a meme about it because even though I’m a sap, my heart just malfunctions and switches to full on nervous-bad-humor mode. You’ll see.
