The reunion of both parents and child made me very emotional. I still have no words to express how happy I’m about it, but from the time being I wanted to draw this.
The scene with InuYasha lifting Moroha up is a clear reference to his meeting with Kagome in the final act. After not seeing her in years, he holds her, she looks at him with a face full emotions, then he lifts her down and hugs her.
It’s just beautiful.

It’s finally happening! The amount of tears I shed with just a few seconds...
Wanted to do a quick redraw from the new PV.
Oh boy, I have a lot of things of my mind right now. This made me incredibly happy, what a good christmas gift.
After 14 years they will finally see each other, and we have been waiting for almost a year and a half! You can’t see Inuyasha’s face yet you can tell he loves his daughter, and he has missed her. Moroha has faced a lot of loneliness on her life so her finally being held by his father again must be incredible. I knew she was going to cry this way but I didn’t expect such a tearjerker scene.
You can also tell that Inuyasha hugged her first, it’s amazing seeing how this guy who used to be a grumpy and agressive hanyo has become such a loving father. I still can’t believe he is a father tho haha.
Moroha narrating the PV and all the scenes make me believe this part of the season will be more focused on her part of the family, I’m super excited. I hope they make a season 3 tho, there’s a lot of room for more (or maybe I’m just being in denial because I love the characters and I don’t wanna see them go but shh)
I can’t wait to see Kagome’s reaction too, like damn. I think Inuyasha will catch Moroha, hug scene and then Kagome will find them and hug scene. I also think they will see through Moroha’s memories it seems?
Sorry I wrote this much on an art post, I’m just too excited!
