What does Theo think about aliens, has he ever seen anything he couldn't explain under clear blue skies?

He doesn’t give it much thought actually. He’s seen a lot of things he can’t explain, and very much believes in the supernatural. He’s encountered ghosts, sea monsters, witches, land monsters, men who’ve come back from the dead, etc. But he’s never really considered whether there’s life on other worlds.

He did meet an alien once, The Doctor, actually penned by the lovey @talktoten

and it made Theo very sad that he and The Doctor didn’t get along well, Theo was extremely intrigued by the guy who shows up out of nowhere and seemed to have all the answers. He wishes he’d had more time to know the man better. But never would have guessed that the man in the strange clothes was from a whole other world!

it probably will not be a focus point of the blog but duane does work with men who use violence on the regular. the phrase he will use to talk about this is “men who use violence” or “people who use violence”. it will be tagged as ‘domestic violence tw’ if the subject comes up at all, but I doubt it will

          “—Oh, oh! I want STRAWBERRY!”

            Ben watched as his brothers and sisters barreled into the diner, Klaus making a spectacle of himself, shrieking and laughing, as they went. It was almost eleven at night, way past their bedtime, and they would all be in big trouble if their father discovered that all seven of them were missing. But tonight wasn’t just any night, it was September 30th, the eve of their birthdays, and Five had suggested that they all go out and celebrate.

          So here they found themselves at Griddy’s Doughnuts, one of the City’s few ‘round-the-clock eateries. His siblings clamoring inside, and Ben begrudgingly waiting outside for their return. 

          It wasn’t his siblings’ fault that he couldn’t go in. They were always restless after a day of superheroing, rumbling deep in his gut for more, more, more. They wouldn’t be satisfied with a jelly doughnut when a few unsuspecting servers would better suit Their taste.

         “You’re a lot of trouble,” Ben said down at his sweater. The fabric bulged and wiggled with a terrible gurgle, but it wasn’t to him that They responded. Something had changed in the air and They could sense it. Whisperings in an ancient language older than time tickled the back of Ben’s mind.

          “Be quiet.” He flattened a palm over his belly, and the Horrors hissed inside his head. He could feel Them wriggling like snakes under his skin. Something was disturbing them, and that something was coming closer.

"You know there are, like, actual beds here. You didn't have to take the floor." Still, she's no more asleep than she was a few hours ago--nothing's going to make her feel more relaxed until she's back in her own space and in her own bed. Given the fuckin' bucketloads of snow being dumped outside, that wasn't likely to happen for a while.

Heaving a heavy sigh, she finally removed the arm and shoved up onto her elbows to squint up at him. "You get any sleep either?"

Lol xD Yes, Markus dislikes ‘Mark’ less, but it just isn’t his name.

As for Manfred I’m so glad you asked! I actually think, if he did adopt Carl’s surname he would encourage being addressed as Mr. Manfred professionally, such as media/magazines/articles, etc. Otherwise still just Markus, and Markus, definitely by anyone out of a professional sense, even around Jericho, or in more one-on-one meetings. But yes. Mr. Manfred, but not by his friends. ;D

“Well then, all the more reason to thank you properly, neighbour.” she spoke, unable to stop a small amused expression. Augie was pretty damn sure she’d never seen him before, which meant he was either new there or passing through. Or lying. Though at the moment it didn’t really matter if he was lying, or whether he was entirely supposed to be there, since he was being kind.  “You sure you don’t need anything?” Sure, she wanted to make things ‘even’, and help out who had helped her. She also wanted to try and tease out just what had led this man to be just at that spot at just the right time.  A hunch, maybe. A flicker in the back of the mind. Nothing more.
