out of all my art this year. going on just how much i like it, probably these pieces/sketches.

^ An orange cream agate, Cora, and his matching Mango Pearl, Molly. they're super new ocs, but i love them sm. their designs arent quite finalized, like i have some things to edit, but i love how much they match.

^ This design for a wax/candle themed Peach pearl. I made her when I was thinking about making an aristocratic Obsidian. I had a lot of fun learning how to make semi-decent fire effects.

^ and this one. tahitian pearl. i made this when Lex asked for ideas for designs to put in the game as the "apology" pearl morphs. every time i see this sketch, or the morph in game, i feel so happy. i remember happy crying when i first saw the announcement lex made to show off the models. i ran to tell my mom and shit man. i was overjoyed because it looked almost exactly like my sketch. used the same colors too. iirc almost nobody else did a green tahitian pearl. i was crying in the club /pos

^ finally, i love every part of this page. i was drawing my Black Star Sapphire and her entourage. the pearls are called Twilight and Midnight, and her spinel is probably my favorite creature on this earth. And I love all her alternate designs in the top right. She and her attendants were my MUSES for like a solid few days. there are many other sketches of the process. early spinel designs. sketches of the pearls. and her PALANQUIN. i was SO proud of that shit man.
