So...just watched both crossover finales for SVU and OC.
I have mixed emotions. On one hand, it was nice to get the old groove of Benson and Stabler working together again. On the other hand, I want to look at the shows' writing teams & Graziano and go "Wtf?"
Let me see if I've got this straight... Rollins exited the show and Giddish is no longer a series regular, she left SVU to take a job as a professor, and we had a huge emotional farewell for her, her story was tied up nicely with her and Carisi getting married, etc...only for her not to deny Olivia's assessment of "You miss it, don't you?" And her confirming it by saying she loves her students but it's not what she thought it would be basically. We see that she's pregnant, something Carisi had told Benson a couple of episodes ago, and we also see Carisi becoming increasingly worried about impending fatherhood. I seriously doubt Kelli is coming back to the show but they have Muncey leave and STILL have this conversation happen between Benson and Rollins when it wasn't needed? It nullifies her emotional farewell to the show and all of the happiness fans had for her endgame (her marriage, her kids, her new career) and dilutes the reason for the conflict she initially had with Benson over her leaving.
And then Muncey leaving... Perhaps the actress Molly Burnett had another project, I'm not really sure what happened there. But we have yet ANOTHER spot to be filled on SVU and now also OC as well? I'm all for rotating new faces and stories but Muncey wasn't even here for a year. Should I expect Bruno to go somewhere in the beginning of the next season? Hard to maintain any emotional investment into these characters if they're just going to have short stints like this. TV is not the movies. TV characters stories' are meant to develop over time, that's the medium and type of story telling it has.
Speaking of which, WTF was that with Jamie? Again, maybe the actor Brent Antonello had another project on board, but what a brutal ending!!! And then to have the sociopath saved on top of it??? Also, why build up the relationship between him and Jet all season only to have it end in a phone call ILY that was one-sided due to him not returning the sentiment and that's the last thing he "says" to her ever?
And no goodbye convo between Benson and Muncey? Or Jamie and Stabler? Or even Velasco and Muncey really? He helps her carry her stuff to her car? And just a hug from Fin? That's it? Jamie, who was a practical mirror for Stabler? And while Benson and Jamie both getting hurt might be a parallel, again Jamie was a mirror for Stabler so how does Jamie not saying the ILY to Jet parallel? This just didn't make any sense to me.
And literally last episode, Benson and Stabler say that the almost kiss wasn't the right moment between them, but now they're just "partners"? He wants her to find her way to happiness? Okay, I can get behind that but then you have her watching after him like that? What? And Stabler already told Benson he loved her, so she knows this already, but when he says he was worried when he couldn't see and heard the shot...she tells him how terrible it must have been for him because it brings back memories about Kathy? I'm not saying she's wrong but make it make sense, people. D-E-V-E-L-O-P-M-E-N-T
Which we know they've thrown into the mix already because he tells Benson he's going on a job and she says "Thank you for telling me this time." So wtf was all the rest of this?
Idk if this was Graziano or what, but this episode single-handedly dismantled the Jamie and Jet relationship, the Velasco and Muncey relationship, and yep, the Bensler relationship. Not to mention they sidelined the Bell and Fin dynamic that we should have gotten to see more of.
And I'm going to say it, when is that Chief going to take a hike? Don't get me wrong, I like the actor, but no way in hell has his character gotten any development since he started deferring to Benson and working on himself. It's almost as if his behavior in this SVU finale undid all of that development and turned him into the asshole boss Benson battled with when he replaced Chief Garland (not that I understood why he and Kat were exited from the show back then either, especially when both actors said it was not their choice to leave the show).
I know OC has had a very high turnover for showrunners since Ilene and that has unfortunately sometimes been shown in the writing. But these two finales felt way off, from everything both shows have been building this past season (and even a little before that).
So I say to Graziano - wtf is going on?

haven't ranted in a while so hi! i'm not using twitter much at the moment because there's too much drama going on for my liking so here i am. i haven't watched svu or oc because i'm beyond tired and frustrated. at the rate we're going, eo is just a terrible joke. like they're not even friends anymore, just two people who used to work together and it's depressing. i've seen some people say to have faith in the new svu showrunner and lmao... please be fr. we were told we were going to have a sort of bottle episode for eo and now it's scrapped. we were told eo were gonna talk and... they aren't even able to coordinate the shows. it's hard, i get it. i do understand it might be very difficult to get both actors on the same show but they had the entire summer to plan ANYTHING and... crickets.
apparently the quality of svu has vastly improved and i'm glad! i just stopped caring about that show years ago and there's nothing that coud make me watch again besides eo so yeah. i'm happy to know all characters are getting equal screentime and the tr*uma p*rn without any follow up has finally stopped.
i'm just very sad that they are giving eo zero attention though. i'm not saying they should be the focus, but they are also an important part of both shows and A LOT OF PEOPLE care about them. too bad the showrunners and everyone else seem to think they are just background noise.
the shows have a couple of years left at best. i really just wish they could rekindle their friendship at least since it's likely we won't get anything more.
also it's funny how olivia needs to ~heal~ before starting any romantic relationship because you can't love someone if you don't love yourself first!!!!!! but rollisi are just fine. the double standard is amazing actually.
that's something that really irritates me. also everyone else gets to have a support system, someone to lean on to and olivia is just there. she's just a ~badass captain~ and ~friend~ but she never gets to express anything. i mean at least she's not robotic anymore i guess! but still. she gotta listen to people trauma dump on her all the time and she barely gets the attention she deserves.
you guys have fun being strung along tho! i'm so over the whole thing which is sad because i used to be super excited and now i feel nothing.
i'm really so tired of seeing olivia SAD all the time. it feels like she's a supporting character right now not even the main one and that version of eo they're currently portraying is SHALLOW. it's really embarrassing how they are (not) writing them.

Hi hello I'm. Thinking of writing a character (an oc) with Turner's and. I was wondering if you had any tips? Any particular aspects of it you want to see represented, anything to avoid, things like that :)

So all I’ll say is avoid doing what Law and Order did and making it about “an adult trapped in a child’s body”. My body isn’t a child’s, it’s an adult’s and I am sure most other adults with TS would agree with me on that. (I could rant forever about what Law and Order SVU did with that character dkjdkdk)
I’d also say just write us as a person who happens to have TS too. I don’t necessarily think writing about us learning about or struggling with our condition is a bad thing bc it can be a difficult thing to come to terms with, and we have such little rep as it is, but make sure that the character clearly has interests and stuff outside of that too!

18-20 definitely were a mess, and I still haven't forgiven them for killing Pam, Peter's sister. And like the one time she recognises her brother, it's as she lies dying in his arms. I haven't really watched all of 24. I haven't completely decided that I'm going to stop watching it. I guess for the moment I'm taking a break from it.
I've also not watched OC in a while, mostly because I know what happens to my favourite character and I'm so not happy about that. I've not even watched OG for a little while either so I've got catching up to do on that. I'll probably continue watching that and see how I feel about SVU and OC. But whenever one of my favourite characters dies, I have a tendency to avoid a show for a little while.

Rick Eid and Michael Chernuchin are just the bane of my existence when it comes to seasons 18-20. (the audacity of Michael believing that Amanda and Sonny were only platonic friends) They also really did Peter cold honestly.
I tried to force myself to watch season 24 and I couldn't even do that - though I will admit the Maxwell episode was really good. But I'm just holding it at arms length for right now and I'll decide later if I want to just drop it all together or stay on this sinking ship for season 25.
I have not watched OC since like season 2 I think? The Wheatly stuff was the last arc I watched - I'm just not really a fan of the whole serialized aspect of the story so I just didn't really vibe with it. From what I've seen though, they can't seem to keep characters either? So like what's the point of watching a show to get attached to someone who's just gonna leave or die?

Elliot: pov while in the bathroom at the oc headquarters I hear someone say can you believe it Elliot Stabler Is dead, the other detective says no I can't imagine how Captain Benson is taking the news they were partners for 13 years back in the day, the first detective says I heard there was an ambulance out front of the 16th precinct today. The second detective said, isn't that the precinct SVU is at. The first detective says yes, I heard the captain fainted when she heard the news.
Fin: pov a while later Liv asks if I can call Ayanna and see if Elliot's kids and mom are okay this must be hard on them losing both parents so soon.
Ayanna: pov I hear Elliot running from the bathroom shouting get the keys it's Liv. I ask what happened in that bathroom and is she okay? He said no. I'm still so mad that we could not tell Liv he was alive beforehand. My phone starts ringing its Fin, i tell Elliot hold on my phone is ringing might be important oh sh*t why is Fin calling me. Is he trying to get a hold of Elliot this way?
Fin: pov I call Ayanna, and tell her Liv asked me to call you. She wanted to know if Elliot's kids were okay and how they were handling the news of his death. Liv would have called herself but she didn't take the news too well. I'm in the Er with her. She fainted when she heard the news and has, a bad concussion. As soon as I said that I heard Elliot in the background ask who it is on the phone we need to Leave, she said Fin. All of a sudden all of my anger towards Elliot comes out and without even realizing it i'm yelling at him You f*cking a** hole, you couldn't even tell us in advance. You piece of sh*t do you even know what you caused you selfish a** hole fu*k you. All of a sudden from behind me I hear Liv say lower your volume Fin it's bothering my head and I give you permission to chew him out, I feel so guilty now. I know Elliot and Ayanna heard her. I go into the corner of the room to continue my rant at Elliot. From behind me I hear Liv say I have to pee Fin. I have no idea what to do. She is attached to all these monitors and I'm on the phone. I tell Ayanna I have to go. Liv has to go to the bathroom. Let me get one of her nurses. She says, text me which hospital you are at.
Amanda: pov Fin texts me that son of a bit*h, was alive this whole time. I text who?
He text back Elliot that Jack a**. He says Liv should be good in a few days, Brian is coming by later to visit and will be helping him with taking care of Liv. Fin told me this is between us but Elliot had to fake his own death that's all I can say.
Muncy: pov wow that is a really nasty thing to do could he not tell her in advance, save her all this trauma.
Cragen: pov I get a call from Fin by the tone in his voice I can tell it's bad and urgent he says Elliot faked his own death and did not tell him or Liv beforehand so now I'm spending the night in the ER with Liv because she fainted and has a concussion. Fin says can I call you tomorrow, I say sure.
Munch: pov Fin is calling me, must be important, he tells me everything that happened I tell him I will try to make it tomorrow to visit her.
Liv: pov one of my nurses comes in and whispers something to Fin. He says Brian is here which is a perfect time for Fin to get something to eat for us. Since we did not eat lunch. Brian has a small conversation with Fin who then goes to find us some food. How nice Bri brought me a stuffed animal and a blanket. He is helping me drink some water. He was warned by Fin I might throw it back up. Which I did, a nurse comes in to clean up the mess I just made. Thankfully the blanket and bear were spared from the barf.
Ayanna: pov I can tell Elliot feels very guilty. Fin is nice enough to text me which hospital they are at. In the car on the ride there Elliot seems upset. In the hospital I ask the front desk lady which room Olivia Benson is in and says she can't give out that info. I ask if she knows what her condition is and she says I can't tell you that info only next of kin or her emergency contact/medical proxy can. Elliot says she has no next of kin. The nurse says yes, her son counts as next of kin. and since you're not on the list of approved people you will have to ask Fin if you can visit her. She says I have to ask at the nurse station.
Elliot: pov I tell her I'm Elliot Stabler, Olivia Benson's former partner. She says very rudely if you had not ghosted her for ten years you would be on the list. She says sorry I can't tell you anything only Fin can and he is busy getting food for him and Liv, but if you want to wait he should be back soon.
Ayanna: pov Elliot is getting very frustrated and angry with this lady. I tell him to calm down and let's wait for Fin.
Elliot: pov I notice Fin walking by with food in his hand. I told him the front desk lady wouldn't tell us her room number or tell us anything about her condition and she was very rude to me.
Fin: pov I say since everything with Lewis and her PTSD they had to change who is allowed in her room to only approved people. To be continued. ……

Okay, I have a lot o feelings about the 500th so I figured here would be the place to put them. I couldn't even focus on OC tbh, even though it was a great episode (as far as any Olivia-less episode is anyway 🙃).
So, to start off, I am very aware of the fact that all the major plot points being spoiled did not do it any favors. We had too much time to build up theories, and expectations and fears and just- a part of me felt like I was rewatching an old episode I didn't remember very well, you know? Because I know seeing Cragen call Liv captain would have felt that much more satisfying had I not already seen it. And I'd have loved to be surprised about Nick being back. Those were the sweet things, the lighter side to the episode and it was a given.
And then there was Burton. Okay. I'm gonna take off my shipper glasses for a hot second here. It was SO nice to see Olivia being flirty and happy with him, and again, I think I'd have appreciated it more had I been figuring out who he was with her, instead of having the word groomer in my mind from the beginning. Those flashbacks? OMG they were perfect! And I absolutely loved to see her piecing it all together in her head because that's everything I want from SVU right now, it's to get inside Olivia's head. It was beautiful how it started with Noah asking about her mother - even before Burton even appeared - because the best thing about the whole journey she goes through has nothing to do with Burton and everything to do with Serena. It's as if by losing this ideal of him she gains back some of her mother. I enjoyed that. I enjoyed the episode, there's no way I wouldn't enjoy an episode about Olivia, ever. I enjoyed it because Mariska was phenomenal, and that part of her history deserved to be acknowledged.
That said, I get where some of the disappointed is coming from. Not only because it's been 23 years, and I feel we as an audience are ready for some more *good* in her life, we're past invested in her character, we feel way too much for her to begin with. And it's a show about trauma. Olivia's been through so much trauma, we're all grasping at straws trying to figure out how it is that she's even still standing, and we might be tired of being told it's because she's strong. We want to SEE the comfort and the love and the happiness. And I think they have hinted at that last season with the "let someone take care of you" line, so it's frustrating to me that she's mostly STILL dealing with everything alone. That she has this glimpse at what she thought was love just to have it taken away. Again. Honestly, the thing I truly didn't like about this episode wasn't even in it, it was knowing all of those issues are not likely to be addressed again anytime soon and all the repercussions are bound to be limited to M's subtle yet incredible acting. I wanted *more* of Olivia, even if that makes me sound like a spoiled brat. Sorry. I always want more. Someone mentioned somewhere (last night was a blur, sorry) about how this could bring her to open up to her therapist and GOD YES, PLEASE. Give us further development that isn't limited to her throwing that tape away. I'm not above begging.
To finish this giant rant, let me put my shipper goggles back on for a minute. I am happy Elliot wasn't made to be the bad guy along with Burton to the extent I thought he would be. It wasn't about him at all, and, unfortunately, he hasn't been in a place to give Olivia the love and support she deserves, even if it kills me. But GOD, seeing Olivia so vulnerable with Burton so quickly was even more heartbreaking when I thought about how closed off she's been with Elliot. Because NOBODY can convince me there wasn't a part of her that wanted to fall back in step with him the same way, but she CAN'T. She's always caught in the middle of HIS drama, and it's now even clearer she's keeping it separate, she's keeping him at bay, but it was he who put himself there first and she just wanted to be loved, GODDAMNIT. If I go down this path I'm gonna end up angry at Elliot and it's not really his fault, he doesn't know what we know, he thinks she's better off without him, so I'mma stop myself right here and just hope that he'll eventually get his head on straight enough to be there for her because the healing potential of that alone has me shaking.
Okay, rant over, these are *my* feelings, but
just wanna highlight the fact that everyone's entitled to their own, we're all vallid. It goes to show how much we care about this character.

I finally watched the new OC and I have to say… I found it to be very cringy… the juvenile portrayal of hacking, the use of Jet & that other hacker dude, Kilbride, Wheatley helping the police. I found it all farfetched and just… cringe. Did you catch those feelings too or? I thought SVU was better (I know unpopular opinion) notes of positivity: Stabler, Bell, Angela A+ acting. I gotta be real my first thought upon seeing this ask was mad max "that's bait" and my second thought was this:
Now your ask was polite. You came in here trying to be respectful, I think, and probably did not anticipate inspiring this response. But svu has a serious representation problem at the moment and that needs to be understood.
When we're talking about not liking last week's SVU, we're talking about the plot that took up most of the first half, where it turns out the attack on the synagogue that was deliberately intended to mirror Kristallnacht turned out to be completely unrelated and orchestrated by a couple of Black kids - not the good Black kid who goes to church! Those bad heathen Black kids - who get thrown under the bus by McGrath, get their lives ruined, and then we're promptly told to forget about all that for the rushed and unsatisfying ending. In a story that centers on racism the chief's own racism is an afterthought. In a story about white supremacy one of the main conspirators is Hispanic? And the main guy the audience interacts with is Serbian. Not in our city, Murphy says, no it's all these people coming to NYC from other places, like NYC doesn't have its own racial tensions to grapple with. Coming on the heels of everything else they've done this season - tossing Kat and Garland in favor of Velasco and McGrath, and the absolutely abominable trap music episode - this is egregious. Then you add in the just general bad writing stuff - the retconning of Murphy and Rollins's arrangement, the random ending, that fucking Merry Christmas line which if left unanswered would have felt right, heavy with meaning and sorrow, but bc of Liv's little you too feels incredibly awkward, all of Liv's friends just standing around looking at her, not even taking a step towards her, even after she's admitted she's not ok, like. Eesh. And you wanna talk about cringe? What about that line about those kids becoming a meme, or McGrath's "I don't have that" while staring dumbfounded at his phone?
But yeah oc has some unrealistic hacking 🤷🏼♀️
You know the first half of oc I did find a little slow. I wasn't paying attention. But they drew me back in, and by the end I was hyped and ready for more and that is. Not how svu made me feel. OC is setting up another arc and it takes time to get the pieces into place and I'm ok with some hand wavy technobabble. I watched Stargate for goodness sake. That was nothing lmao

Elliot/Olivia Rant About Last Night's Crossover (Sort of)
So, much like everyone else.... I have some thoughts on last night's SVU/OC crossover. Mainly... yes, the Elliot/Angela [redacted].
While I do want Elliot and Olivia together (soon), I do get why he [redacted] Angela. She's a manipulator. A lot of fans (including myself) have been suspicious of her from almost the very beginning.
Her son Rafiq's death is her only connection to Elliot on an emotional level since he's grieving his wife's death as well. So, with that being said, there's a deeper connection between it all IF she ends up being guilty as accused. We see her in jail in the next episode promo, so that leads us to believe she's been arrested. There's more to it, I'm sure.
But, to continue, I get it. I get why Elliot connected with her. He's grieving not only the loss of his wife, he's also grieving the loss of what he once had with his family (notably his Son Eli moved out so now he's alone) and the loss of his connection and partnership with Olivia. She is so close yet so far away and not only is it grief and mourning but also, guilt for leaving. (I just wish they would explain more of why he left and didn't show up during her darkest hours).
Then this woman comes up, Angela, with all these relatable feelings he's having. Obviously, before Isaac Bekher tells him it was her, Elliot doesn't suspect her of anything. He thinks she's the only one he can relate to in that moment. He thinks she's a victim in all this too due to what happened to her son because of what seems like his connection to her ex-husband's (Richard Wheatley) "business."
I genuinely feel that Elliot [redacted] Angela is what he 'thinks' is a connection that, in a way, will protect HIMSELF from doing something with Olivia that he'll regret because he's not in his sound mind.
Remember, toward the beginning of the SVU ep, Olivia tells him people (she doesn't name) are telling her to stay away from him? He looked hurt that she'd tell him that, and or that someone is telling her to stay away from him. She's all he has in reality and maybe he does recognize that eventually. It already seems he feels she doesn't want him in her personal life as of yet (he's yet to meet her son) so he probably feels like he can't talk to her like that quite yet.
He knows he left her, he knows he's hurt her so why go to her in his most vulnerable, insecure, reckless moments and hurt her even more? He may feel like he's connected to Angela through shared trauma but he has nothing to lose with her whereas, he'd lose what he has left in Olivia which is hanging by a thread as is.
While I do believe Elliot and Olivia are slowly rebuilding that trust, having brief moments of honesty, it's nowhere near where they need to be for him to make a move like that with Olivia. It would kill them both if it was the wrong time.
Now my favorite parts of last nights crossover?
First of all, loved the parking garage scene which seems to have replaced the diner scene from what I saw other SVU aficionados state.
I feel the hurt in him when she discloses that there are people warning her about him. But loved the moment he asked if they were ok and she goes, "I hope so." Burned parallel. Gotta love it.
I also loved the way he protected her in the shooting.
On OC, it's like night and day. While they had some tension at the beginning, the whole hallway scene at the OC precinct was so ... Season 12 EO. The way they looked at each other, the way they said Uncle K in sync, the way he pulled the chair out for her, and the way she grabbed his hand and he held on for a split second longer.
I feel like it was a bit of regret on Elliot's part, it was right after - you know. But I feel like he's realizing what he didn't before. He's connected to Olivia more than he'd realized through shared trauma as well. She gets what he is going through and he didn't see that before going to Angela multiple times.
What I didn't like?
Hated the way they had him initially react to Simon's death. "I'm sorry to hear that," is not good enough and I lay that purely on SVU's shoulders because they seem to not want anything to do with Elliot and it shows and it's... quite frankly petty.
He is much more tender and sincere when he and Olivia were talking in the hallway on OC.
I was also a little confused by the Bell comment. She said "Captain Benson means a lot to you, " and in the same scene says to move on. It wasn't clear at first and I feel like... I do now think she meant to move on from Kathy's case, but at first it sounded like she meant that she knows Olivia well enough to know he should move on from her because he'd hurt. Which, you know is probably why he went to Angela again. I don't know, it was confusing. I get it, but it's confusing.
And one last thing I don't like, is that they can't seem to get EO to just have one honest, bare to soul conversation. It's always deflected by the case or Olivia asking about any developments on Kathy's case which she also tells him to step back from so he can help himself heal.
Overall
I do genuinely feel like they're setting up EO, which I'm happy about. I just want them on the same page and on solid ground. They're trying to cram everything regarding Elliot's healing into eight episodes, I get that, but I feel like it'll all tie in better when Olivia's POV is more apparent and when they actually talk about the last ten years. I hope when Season 2 is picked up, they delve more into Elliot making up the lost time in the right way with Olivia. Including major explaining and groveling. Also, hope before Season's end, we get some sort of answers to that letter. I still feel like what he said in it, is why Olivia hasn't given up. He's said something we need to hear that she has already thus why she's just... there for him. I also wonder if Angela's seeming involvement in Kathy's death will allow Richard (Dylan Mcdermott) to stay on past season 1. Seems like a big name to only sign on for eight eps.
Guess we'll find out.
I'm just trying to believe Chris and Mariska when they say it'll take time to rebuild their relationship. I just have to believe it'll be something great when they get there.

I read IG's words and they were thought provoking. Unfortunately, I don't know where she is seeing hate directed at her. Was she referring to that photo she included in her post? Because it looks like Kathy, not IG. I'm just really trying to understand what posts she is referencing. Are there screenshots of posts? Genuinely interested in knowing. I feel bad for her feelings being hurt but honestly, it seems like she's transferring the anger to Kathy upon herself, when nobody was directing any anger her way personally🤷
I think you may be right about this. I don’t have twitter so I can’t follow up on her truth of hate being spewed at her. I searched the Kathy Stabler hashtag and didn’t really see anything to IG. Doesn’t mean it didn’t exist once. I don’t know for sure but she could be/ seems to be taking things towards her character as hate towards herself. And I would hope no one is actually doing that. Kathy hate is easy to find. Heck, I can look at my own rants that day but I certain didn’t direct it at her nor do I feel any kind of way about her. It’s possible some fans have. WL said they were the “toxic corner of our SVU/OC fan base” so they know it’s not all of us. Just that small corner. She seems to be receiving plenty of love now

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it. I’m pretty proud of my SVU fic, it was the first one to get a really huge and really positive response from readers.
24. What fic do you desperately need to rewrite or edit? all of them! espically the older ones, as I’d like to think my skills have improved. But even with the new ones, I always catch mistakes that could be fixed.
25. What’s your most popular fanfic? It would have to be my Law and Order SVU Cabenson stories
26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles? depends on the fic, there’s no real method to it
27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles or writing summaries? titles
28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of? First off I would be so honored and touched if someone wanted to try fan art of my work. So many pieces I would love to see! Claudia with Myka and HG’s baby sleeping on her chest. Alex and Sam dancing barefoot in their backyard, Rey hugging Amilyn with Leia watching, Nessa telling the Ozian children stories while her mothers looks on
29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not? I do not, I should get one
30. What inspires you to write? good characters, an idea I would like to see play out, a good actress I connect with

32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you? music does inspire me, I try to make playlists, I will listen while I write but not while I edit.

48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not? Yes, because I’m a writer who knows how good it feels to get a comment. It helps to know people are enjoying what you’ve put a lot of time and heart into

50. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction? It’s been so long now I don’t remember lol

As a writer it gives you an outlet to express yourself, and to express how you feel about things. As a reader you get to see that the thoughts and feelings you’re having, others have them too.

3. Captain Kink and Kitten by @auduna-druitt Kitten is fanfiction me. I have claimed her as my own. LOL!! I have really enjoyed helping Audie develop Kitten and glad she is willing to let me and share Kitten with me. We have made her OC.
4. Very Special Agent Papa DiNozzo by @itswitchcraft-not-googlemaps My requests helped start this serious and I got to help name the now OC for it.

Anon Haters are one thing I hate in the world of fanfiction. These awesome people give us stories for free. You do not have to pay for it. They take time out of their busy lives to give us wonderful works of art. So why do you feel the need to dump on them? Move on. You don't have to like everything you read but if you cant give constructive reasons as to why you don’t like it keep your nasty opinions to yourself.
Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not?
I try to at least say I love this or leave a gif. I am not very good at explaining why I do or do not like something. And if I have just binge read a story. I don’t put a comment on every chapter. I make sure to reblog every chapter and like it. If there is a master list. I will reblog and comment on that.
What ship do you feel needs more attention?
I follow the major ones so there isn’t any I think needs more attention.
Who was your first OTP and are they still your favorite?
This will tell you how old I am. My first OTP was JC Chasez and Lance Bass. If I still read boyband fic, yes they would be. I do on occasion go to the Wayback Machine and read one fic in particular that has always been my fav.
Is there an obscure ship which you love?
I found this one while searching A/B/O fic. Tony DiNozzo and Aaron Hotchner. I love them. I didn’t know I needed it in my life.

Law and Order: SVU Barisi and Barson. I ship Barba with no one but me. LOL!! I just don’t think he would date anyone within his work field. I think he would want someone outside that so that he can step away from it.
Star Trek: McSpirk, Spirk and McCoy and Spock. I only ship Spirk in TOS but even then I don’t really read it.
NCIS: TIVA!!! I never really liked Ziva so I can’t see her and Tony together.
Avengers: I am not a big fan of Stucky. But I get why its a thing. I also don’t like Steve and Sharon.

So I’ve been rewatching SVU and I’m on S9 and I have to admit, I didn’t feel like, they have secret feelings for each other thing until maybe S6/7 mostly around Fault. But even then it was very fan-driven and we had to read btw the lines and infer A LOT of things. During this time, everyone including Mariska and Chris were adamant EO were just BFFS and nothing will ever happen. Okay, here we are in S23 and OC and we have ‘l Love You’ being blurted out, the letter, in a parallel universe, and now hand-holding. This is confirming to fans of EO ship all along that we were right and they did have feelings. So now if they yank it away and decide not to proceed after all these storylines, it will be even more upsetting, especially since we know Mariska and Chris have a say in this storyline with that dinner they all had. I just had to get that little rant out.
that's why i don't think they're gonna yank it all away. if they wanted to tease the fans they'd tease. having elliot say i love you and it will always be you and i is not a tease. like, is there still potential for them not to make eo endgame? sure. but if they really didn't want to make eo endgame they wouldn't be spending this much time on eo. minutes are precious and oc is a brand new show that could have set itself up just fine out without wasting time on liv, but she's become an important part of the story over there. you just gotta hang in there bestie. you just gotta believe.
