Here are all the samples of my crocheting! It was so fun to create in this medium and I have been growing this skill ever since I was reintroduced to it in class! Since our early weeks I made a walk hanging for myself and a hanging basket for 🪴 plants and I gave it to a friend for her bday and she sent me a picture of it hanging in her window and said she loved it! I have more plans to continue researching this material as the additional research I’ve already done with learning plant hangers and heart shapes was so fun!

Herringbone-tambour!! It's a great option to have: classic tambour (surface slip stitch) can look kind of plain, and sometimes stringy and open. It dates from at least the 1700's. Do *herringbone-tambour* for a sleek, solid line. And, the double-herringbone version is more raised! In these photos: center round is the regular tambour; middle (aqua): herringbone-tambour; outer green one: double-herringbone. The purple rim is edged with herringbone-slip stitches too.
