It's not often that he finds himself in such position, but it does happen.

John Constantine never would have thought he'd scratch the "tied up by a cult to be used as sacrifice to summon a powerful ghost" spot on his bingo card.

He doesn't even feel threatened by the cult, hell, all he will receive from this day is pure embarrassment if the summoning circle is really the one he thinks it is.

"Hey, dad!" The being greets, swinging a swift fist against one of the cultist.

The rest are frozen and now that they're alone John sees the shit eating grin on the gremlins face.

"Danny." He greets back, watching as his kid swipes some invisible dust from his hat and putting it on back.

"Man, this is so embarrassing for you. Let me just—"

To make matters worse, Danny pulls out his bloody smartphone and takes a picture of him tied up.

"I'm sending this to mom." He's fiddling with the rope, smug smirk on him that John would love to flip off if his hands weren't bound.

"Useless..."

favorite thing about them : I love that he's a complex character who is a fundamentally good person in an awful environment that is slowly eating away at him, but he still manage to keep his strong morals via pure strengh, and there is something just so compelling about this man who is build as a legend and is slowly humanized the more time you spend with him, I really do love him a lot......... lol jk it's THE TITS.

least favorite thing about them : he infuriates me. King of not minding his own business and "every problem is MY problem" while also NOT. COMMUNICATING. AT ALL.

favorite line : buddy Kiryu has so many iconic good lines I don't think I can choose a favorite... I like the tongue twister he says at the end of the clan creator minigame in kiwami 2.

brOTP : with Nishiki even if it makes me sad :( and with Majima cause its just a realy solid friendship, man

Cosplay Mania 2018 - Chiharu Sawashiro and Shunsuke Takeuchi on Stage! - Digest

Cosplay Mania gave us tons of awesome guest this year. Two of them were popular seiyuus (voice actors):  Chiharu Sawashiro and Shunsuke Takeuchi. 

Chiharu Sawashiro is popular with his role as  Banri Settsu in “A3!” game and as SOARA’s Nozomu Nanase from TV Anime “TsukiPro the Animation”. 

Shunsuke Takeuchi is known by everyone as Producer from IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls and QUELL’s leader Shu Izumi from TV Anime “TsukiPro the Animation”. 

They both graced the CosMania SP Stage at Day 2 and fans were really excited. A short session was held.  Here are questions asked during the event and a summary of what happened.

Both guest were welcomed on stage warmly by the very excited audience. They introduced themselves in Filipino 1. How did you start in Voice Acting?  Shunsuke: I like Hollywood movies, especially Dark Knight, with actor Heath Ledger. In Japan, we have Hollywood movies as well, so that how I started.  Chiharu: The reason why I started voice acting is because I was influenced by my sister (Miyuki Sawashiro) who is also a voice actress.

2. What are the challenges you face as a voice actor?  Chiharu: The most difficult thing for me is to properly pronounce my character's lines. Host: What is the most difficult word? (Chiharu recites some Japanese tongue twisters)  Shunsuke: What he said just now are basic tongue twisters that we also use for practicing 3. Which character you've voiced is the most memorable for you? Shunsuke: If I'm going to choose, yes, it is Producer from Idolmaster and I also voiced Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy the Animation. These characters are memorable for me.  Chiharu: I have a lot of characters memorable for me but one of it is from A3 and one from TsukiPro. To be able to play these different kinds of characters and knowing everyone likes it, makes me very happy. 4. Most memorable moment as a voice actor? Shunsuke: Maybe this day. Chiharu: The most memorable for me is working the same job as my sister. (Audience are shouting "kawaii" and Chiharu just suddenly said "MAHAL KO KAYO") 5. What advise can you give to aspiring voice actors? Chiharu: Being a voice actor is not only about the voice, we have events like this and stage acting also. You should be able to do a lot of things all that once and focus on what you want in order to become a voice actor. Shunsuke: It's hard to focus on just one thing and hit the wall. You should be able to absorb a lot of things and focus on what you really want to be able to become a voice actor. The anime industry is going worldwide, web streaming is now available. It will be nice if you become a voice actor. Next segment was Fan submitted questions. 1. Which character you voiced best describe yourself? Chiharu: For me, I think I'm like TsukiPro's Nanase. It is my very first role and it felt like me. (random "MAHAL KO KAYO" again lol) Shunsuke: For me, it's Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy because you know my voice is very deep so most of my characters are very serious ones but this role is very mischievous and playful. I was able to experiment and I hope to get more roles like that in the future. (Chiharu said “MAHAL KITA” to the person who submitted question#2) 2. Aside from voice acting, do you dream of doing other jobs? Chiharu: If I didn't become a voice actor, I'll be my sister's manager because I won't lose a job. Shunsuke: I'm really interested in clothes and fashion, maybe I would like to do job related to it or something related to art (Chiharu said “VERY VERY MAHAL KITA” to the person who submitted question# 3) 3. What characher is the most fun to voice? Shunsuke: Any character is fun to voice. Chiharu: Playing a character is a responsibility and I kinda feel pressured but going to this kind of events is very fun. 4. Are you suprised that you have fans outside Japan? What was your reaction? Chiharu: I checked if I was called Chiharu Sawashiro not Miyuki Sawashiro, and if that is the case, I'm very happy. Shunsuke: The best part of anime is that it goes beyond borders. Seeing you guys here makes me very happy. 5. If you were to make an idol group with your fellow voice actors, who would it be and why? Chiharu: Shunsuke Takauchi, Mr. Toyonaga (Toshiyuki Toyonaga), Yuki Kaji, Mr. Kakihara (Tetsuya Kakihara). Everyone is already popular, I can just go with the flow. Shunsuke: It's me, Chiharu Sawashiro, Kotarou Nishiyama...I can hear so many demands from the audience (lol)... and Takahiro Sakurai. They are my very good senpais. I would like to observe them work so I can work better as well Next part was the raffle of 10 shikishi boards. Both guest drew the lucky winners. After that, the voice acting game started. Random voice lines were placed in a fishbowl and each actors took turns in getting one and reading each one of them depending on style/mood written on it (e.g. COOL, INTELLIGENT, PUNK, ETC). Winner will be determine based on the audience's cheer intensity. The lines read were in Japanese but the English translation was shown on the big screen behind them for the audience. Shunsuke cheered "Chiharu! Chiharu!" with the audience before Chiharu did some of his lines. After Chiharu did one of his line he said "MAHAL KITA" that made fans squel more. Shunsuke said "You cheater! (lol)" The host thanked Sunamori-san (DJ Sunamori) for the lines used during the game. During the voting, the audience cheer for each guest was a draw so they decided the winner by Janken and Chiharu won. Since Shunsuke lost, he need to do a special line. It contained "Goodnight, my princess. *kiss*" and fans went wild upon seeing the english translation of the line. The host said that since it was their first time in the Philippines, they have to do it together. So Chiharu became the "princess" and acted sleeping while Shunsuke did his line. The session ended with the a group photo with the audience.

My First Vocal warm up (duration 10 minutes)

During this warm up we focus of warming up the facial muscles, voice box and learning to control our voices.

1. Massage your cheeks and throat to help relax your muscle so you can stretch your mouth for those bigs and long notes, 3 circular rotations on both sidesof your cheeks don’t apply too much pressure then repeat the same action on your throat.

2. Chewing gum technique, pretend you have put a small amount of gum in your mouth then chew, gradually build on the motion of your mouth as though you have added more gum and the chewing has become intense, this is to stretch your jaws.

3. Sour and suprised technique, this is also to warm up your facial muscles. Pretend as though you have bitten into something sour and stew your face up then switch and pretend to be super suprised. Repeat this 3 times.

4. Yawning, start off by doing small yawns then gradually grow them the yawn will come naturally, repeat this 3 times. This is to warm up your voice box and jaw.

5. Tongue Rolls, rotate your tongue around your mouth making sure you reach all the corner, reaper this 10 times going both ways, this builds the saliva in your mouth with helps with your articulations.

6. Bunji Jumps, create a stick man with your finger and pretend he is jumping off your shoulder (optional) as the bunji jumper goes down your make a deep squealing sound with you hold for 5 seconds and as the bunji jumper comes up you make a high pitch squealing sound which you also hold for 5 seconds, repeat this 4 times. This will help with your pitch control and warm up your voice box.

7. Meows and roars, first start of with small meows and then giant roars, repeat these each 3 times and gradually get louder on each go. This will help with warming up your facial muscles and voice box. I

8. Tongue twisters, try and say the following sentences as fast as you can, these will help with your articulations

“Peter piper pecked a peck of picked peppers”

“She sells sea shells on the sea shore”

“ Red lorry yellow lorry”

“If peter pecked a peck of pickled peppers how many pickles peppers did peter piper pick”

9. 121 song, which you gradually increase in pitch and tempo this helps your learn how to hold notes and crontrol your voice.

10. Hida hida song , this song also helps you to control your voice and harmonising.
