APPLICATION
our application is a profile app, meaning you just fill out the profile as your application. it consists of a stats section, moodboard, relationships, likes/dislikes/aesthetic sections, and a freeform. the freeform should help give us a complete understanding of your character but there is no minimum word count.
if you'd like an early start you can use this google doc containing all of the fields of our app you can clone and use to fill out. this also has the list of all the images/graphics you'll need as well as their dimensions.

NEIGHBORHOODS
our first preview will give you a more in-depth idea of what bankscliff looks like and to hopefully get your character & plot ideas flowing!
BANKSCLIFF UNIVERSITY
bankscliff university boasts a large campus, one that is fairly isolated from the rest of bankscliff. this is the students’ world, their playground. there’s parking garages on campus proper and more than enough greenspace, multi-acre parks that host the university’s open air events, and of course: student living. dorming is recommended for freshmen and sophomore students.
THE CLIFFS
the cliffs are ultra-exclusive. a neighborhood full of custom mansions on the shoreline, luxury cars in the driveway. the cliffs are home to what others call “the founders” of bankscliff—some of the residents are new money but the majority are influential. everyone in the cliffs has a known last name and this is where you’ve truly made it. no outsiders allowed.
PACIFIC STREET
pacific street is the downtown area, bankscliff’s trendiest neighborhood. the strip has restaurants (with more opening all the time), the oceanside market, and mountainside views. the residences in pacific street are apartment buildings, as well as some smaller condos. rents are high in this part of bankscliff but it’s a vibe, welcomed by everyone who wants to feel like a someone.
ROCKY POINT
rocky point is an outlier to the lifestyle known in bankscliff. the buildings in rocky point are run-down with time. residences are smaller as a general rule, with small bedrooms and a small backyard if you’re lucky enough to have one. the neighborhood has a tight knit group of locals and a bad reputation—if they’re known for anything, it’s the scrappiness that comes with having a chip on your shoulder.
SEABROOK
seabrook is where you want to be. it isn’t an exciting place by any means but it’s the ideal. when you live in seabrook, things are easy. it’s a suburban sprawl, with the schools close by and the toro center in your backyard. it’s a good place to raise a family and the rest doesn’t matter; has a high concentration of similar houses and pta moms.
SOUTHBANK
southbank is a draw to people outside of bankscliff. it’s somewhat of a touristy area, with more attractions than residences (as well as a few hotels in the area)! the apartments in southbank are spacious, with multiple bedrooms and terraces or upper level decks. it’s earned a reputation as a bohemian area of bankscliff, with a high concentration of art galleries.
TERRACE HILL
terrace hill is home to bankscliff’s university campus. the neighborhood is fairly private—mostly catering to college kids—but has a number of smaller residences and families. chances are, if you still live in terrace hill, it’s the only place in bankscliff that is available to you. the places are small, bungalows with small yards and, like the university, you’re supposed to graduate out of them.

SITE VALUES
before we reveal more about our setting, here's our taglines explained in more detail so you can get a feel for the type of community we are hoping to build!
beginner friendly
as a staff team we welcome members that are new to jcink or new to rp. our site will have several guides to help someone get started as well as a dedicated space in our discord server to get help.
leading by example, we will cultivate the same in our members and community.
flexible activity
our activity policy requires one (1) in-character post every 14 days. we’ve decided on this system to provide flexibility for a variety of posting types or preferences. this requirement can be easily met by different preferences whether that’s comms, one-liners, or longform threads.
the main goal of our activity policy is to be low stress while also keeping the site and plots moving so muse is always fresh.
character driven
different rps have different meanings on character driven. at sundrenched, it’s a focus on development; meaning we care about how characters develop and grow (or even, let’s be real: regress), and giving a space that encourages that to happen!
