i saw something comparing siblings to dogs, birds and cats, and of course i thought of the roys

dogs are the youngest siblings (roman) who no matter how much you hurt them, they'll still wait for you, come back to you, and love you regardless of what you have done to them

cats are the eldest siblings (kendall, connor), the ones that wont tell about their problems, they will try to hide it and play it cool until its too late and they explode

birds are the middle siblings (shiv) that would watch the others from afar but will never get/be close enough to neither cats or dogs without being hurt, they will always be left out or the last choice

the bg3 fanbase is funny as fuck in a bad way for primarily shipping gale, who is the most garrulous man you can imagine, with astarion, whom gale goes "uh 😐 not really looking to talk with you man" at when prompted for conversation, and not with wyll, whose party admission gets a "gale approves" and then they proceed to compliment each other 24/7.
