i finished building the rocket and now instead of right-clicking the cuddlefish to stay put, it says to right-click it to say farewell NOOOOOOOOOOOO............. ;;--;;

i'm not going to end the game today cuz im too attached to this beautiful world also i still want to scan a ghost leviathan (havent yet). also gonna stock up the rocket with cool stuff, set my animals in containment free, etc.... just sort of wrap up all i've been doing i guess lol.

#original nonsense #subn liveblog #subnautica spoilers #okay i finaly met the actual sea empror leviathan I THINK?#the one who has been speaking to me inside my mind..#i thought she was the one circling the facility but that is actualy a distinctly different leviathan.#she has more of a beak while this one has a huge toothy mouth #among other differences etc....#im so sad that i finally get 2 meet her but then she's like well now that my babies r gone im gonna die ::-(#and its like oh no ::-(#well she doesn't seem too sad about it. just curious. good outlook to have when your death is soon [thumbs up]

subn has a plot and i kind of just like stumble through the plot points as i play but it makes me wonder what is the quickest playtime for this game....

random other thoughts below

I am confused looking up something... I think I need the prawn suit in order to mine kyanite but the only way to upgrade the prawn to go deep enough to do that is to use kyanite... How does that work !!!

(Another edit: I LIED the kyanite is used in the mk2 upgrade not the mk1 upgrade. Great news for me!!)

I try not to look up much about this game so i can find stuff myself but it is hard to stumble into the correct places to "progress", i got really lucky finding the poison rivers that had a bunch of cool resources i had not discovered yet.

^ on this topic i think i read the lava biomes are accessible through a poison river but i have no clue if that is my rivers or not huuuuu ..... Probably not since there are several different rivers and i have only seen 2. (Unless they are all connected? I sort of doubt that...)

(Edit: Nevermind It turns out the lava area is indeed connected to the river through the giant tree area [PUNCHES THE AIR] now how to get down there tho..... o<-<)

I'm a bit scared to drop into deep waters with the prawn suit in order to find deeper locations bc i don't know where the edges of the map are! i worry I will just plummet to a crushing death .... ::-(

Other than this I've been having an exciting time gaming lately hehe ::-) i don't really know how close i am to the end but since i did find data on where to find the sea emperor im probably close. It's been so long it doesn't feel like i will ever finish it ::-|

OH YEAH I also wonder how many bases ppl make thru their playtime, i keep mine super small and simple but other people have like huge complex ones... I think i have 3 rn

ohhhh subnut spoilers

i thought curing khaara would b way harder cuz i thought i would need 2 manufacture a cure somehow... but it actually happened alongside freeing the baby leviathans which is awesome ::-)

ALSO the babies are SO CUTE <3 <3 <3 AHHHHHHH subnautica babies are born......... <3 <3 <3 <3 they are aroud human sized which is interesting to see, also they remind me very much of sea turtles ::-) (maybe it is their arms and head shape?)

i guess now my goal is to get that neptune launch pad going and see what happens from there ::-)

got really excited to explore the lava zone in subn today but all i did today was upgrade my prawn suit (which was necessary) and then decorate my base a bunch ::-)

also hit an obnoxious glitch where there is a panel in a hallway betwen the moonpool + the main room where i drop through the floor, and it thinks im still in a room full of air when i am on the seafloor. i have to walk to my base's hatch and click it to stop the glitch lol

This one has a lot of pyrocoral and brine floaters.#i jumped into a river and fell into a huge cavern AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH im okay though.#there's. Weird stuf down here but i dont want to scan it because of the poison.

#original nonsense #subn liveblog #interesting things that happened:#i put an infected fish in my aquarium and itinfected all the other fish (SAD)#but then i put an enzymed-peeped into it and it cured them somewhat (HAPPY?)#(they have faint green spots still? its weird)#ALSO. the baby ghost took my seamoth and clipped it into a wall.#so i went off and just likeidk. tooled around and crap.#and eventually went back in my prawn suit with the intention of looking to see if my ship got moved #and while i was craftng something i heard it explode. womp womp.#so now i should invest in another seamoth.#while going down in my prawn i was gonna climb down buti accidentally fell down into the pit #of it and as i was fallling i passed a warper. plz imagine me waving to it as i drift past it

ohh found a new biome apprently it is a river? (there are river prowlers and ghost leviathans there). also nearby is a crab squid that is suspiciously not in a cave at all and just hangs out around the surface at like 170 meter depth........ weird

edit: yooo there is alien structures in here ::-D some kind of big archway that i guess is an inactive portal

#original nonsense #personal #i feel usually i just hear the same few songs in the ost but last night i heard new songs yay ::-)#but now it sounds like songs r overlapping?? or maybe they are remixed together???#and im in this rlly dark wreckage hyping myself up to explore it but the music(?) keeps playing this low runbling sound that cuts off #suddenly and its freaking me out #i will say that the sound of the reefback leviathans humming feels weirdly reassuring #they make sort if whale noises.... theyre very nice ::-)#subn liveblog
