6. Wind

"I didn't think it this severe…"

The recurit beside her huffed out a laugh despite them having not been on the field much longer than she had been. "This is calm, right now. Wait until the bombing runs start back up."

Yahsra rubbed at her arms, staring off across the ruins just up the hill, watching as spark and smoke trailed along in the wind. She wasn't naive, she understood what volunteering for a resistance faction meant, she had been prepared at least partially up front on what to expect so far from her home. Still, the constant clanging of machinery and ducking in and out from cover as she moved along the line to heal those most in need didn't frighten her. It excited her. Not that she would admit such a thing to those fighting for their homeland right now. She was certain it'd be misunderstood. She had already been reprimanded once or twice for scaling some crumbling tower to gain a better vantage point or for pushing her way towards front line, her strixi whirring around her as she slung spell after spell, pulling the experience and motions from that girl in white.

The stench of burning oil hit her nose, making it crinkle.

They have the full intention of putting on a grand magical show.

They've seen a magic show before...that one from a weird little imp, but the ponies are a bit different. All the same, they aren't doing any harm, so might as well let them go on with the show--it could be fun!
