Late submission for Dazatsu Week, day 1: Future
I've wanted to draw this for a while and thought the idea suited the prompt very well 💖
As I mentioned in my post about Yuko-chan, Atsushi and Dazai take turns looking after her when she's at the Agency. One day, she wanted help reading a new book she had picked at the bookstore and since Dazai was idle, he complied while his spouse was hard at work.
When Atsushi realized, it had been a while since he had last heard Dazai's voice coming from the leisure area so he went to check - only to find his two sweeties fast asleep. 😌

mostly tracing over the pharos concept art but this is just for fun. chuuya and the bestie (boy he is sealed within)
#if youre wondering about the blank space that was supposed to be a side profile but i was having such a hard time i gave up#yes theyre both trans. this holds no weight on the story but its a thing#well. dazai is. im not sure how being trans would work out for chuuya considering being literally death but there is definitely an allegory#theyre obviously not going to have the similarities appearance-wise so i had to think abt how to tie them together#pharos' prison fit now comes from dazais striped dress#theres also the bracelets & choker. chuuyacore but also one for every bandaged section#also i tend to draw dazai and chuuyas hair similar so theres that#its especially apparent in their little middle bangs i think#this appeals to nobody but me and was mainly for a joke abt chuuya & ryojis stage actors but. its a thing now !#i like to think that present day dazai/minato wears the eye bandages. or maybe an eye patch#and ryoji chuuya can get his gloves and hat#now everyone imagine chuuya standing menacingly over dazais bed every night and talking to him threateningly to help#well i imagine here he would actually be on purpose threatening instead of just creepy fhfhdhdh#dazai would definitely push his buttons. rip chuuya im so sorry#well now ive drawn both of skk as pharos. this probably says smth about me#my art :d#skk#ryomina too technically but it feels unfair to tag it that

i havent posted about it since halloween because i literally havent worked on it since halloween but the clown is going well ^_^
#for one the shirt is um actually a functioning one puece shirt with a zipper. rather than Something im safetypinned into#last pic is the lining gor the vest but my lighting makes it look not gold. Its gold. Trust.#im going to start + hopefully finish the boots tomorrow ! one way or another.#and possibly find a fabric to make the red stripes up the leggings bc i went through the trouble of measuring + cuting out + gradient dying#the red fabric ive used for everything else. ontl for it to skip stitched in my machine like Crazy. i dont wsnt to fight with it#thought im leaving those until Absolute last becaude i dont care about having them that bad. actually ill probably hotglue them on#if that would fuckcifng work LOLL but idrc if i pull up in plain black leggings as long as the top is done. and i Want to do the boots but#if it doesnt work out i also have plain black boots to wear. im happy either way. smiling even#I for real have to go to bed sorry i like talking about it and i would usually message my girlfriend my yapfest but if i do that#while i need to lock in / sleep then we'll end up talking for an hour and locking in means i need to Alock IN.
