Uma- pulls back with s grin, snorts, then chuckles. Uma rubs your arm, tugs on your wrist and intertwines your fingers with theirs. “Ah— They sound lucky. If they’re your partner.” Uma laughs again when they look at you, they say, “You’re so going to forget all of this in the morning.”
Statler- “Wait— But that’s—” Statler pouts a bit, pointing at themself. They don’t seem entirely happy at the prospect of being so easily forgotten, or dismissed. It’s something they swiftly move on from, though. Statler forces a little awkward chuckle, “I think you’ve drunk enough for today. Let me take care of you.”
Wanda- grins excitedly, wraps both her arms around your shoulders, says, “Oh~ Tell me about her, then. I wanna know all the goss,” Wanda adds in a mumble something about sounding like Maude and Statler. Her fingers play with your hair enticingly.
Kai- “What? Who? Are you cheating—” panic punches Kai in the gut, a very brief second until they realize they’re your girlfriend/boyfriend and now they’re feeling like an idiot. “Oh, fuck off. You’re drunk. Let’s get you to bed.”
Travis- truth be told, Travis is probably just as drunk as you. His hands find your waist, hold it for support as his hazed eyes look into yours. “So do I,” Travis admits, looks down at your lips briefly, “They’re a bit of an idiot, but...”

Jade/Jean- “... Ah.” J pauses awkwardly. Their eyes narrow, anchored in that one spot on your neck. “You should— No, I’m not explaining why I was mad. Just— C’mere, I’m worried about that. Let me take care of it, okay?”
Uma- they pale almost instantly, shuddering, paranoid as they look around with a grimace. “[Name]—” they say, deadly serious, “I’m not fucking stepping foot in your house unless you kill that monster.”
Statler- “I already... Knew that?” Statler winces, “Okay— I thought it was a love bite.” And then they apologize. Profusely, and they apologize some more. “I really don’t know how to fix that, though... No— [Name] don’t you date scratch it.”
Wanda- “Oh my God. That’s actually really scary,” she shudders a little. Unlike Uma, Wanda isn’t terrified of bugs, though that doesn’t mean she remotely likes them. “You’re gonna find this funny, though! You see— I thought that bite was a hickey and was kinda flipping my shit over here!”
Kai- “Whaaaat? No fucking way,” Kai snorts, laughs—you swear you see them flush—they they cradle your face, twist it so they get a better view of the mosquito bite, and they laugh harder.
Travis- “What kind of mosquito even does that? It—” Travis huffs, flushes, he avoids your gaze like it’s a pest (luckily gets mad at something that isn’t you) “Is it fucking Australian or what?”

Jade/Jean- “So do it,” their anger snuffs, J gives you a little challenging smirk, like they’re daring you to act on your words. “What? You’re going to make me wait for it?”
Uma- they’re a little startled, blinking rapidly as their brown cheeks flush. “Uh... Thanks—? Thanks. This is not... the right moment, though.”
Statler- the speed at which Statler recovers is astounding. First, they correct you, “I’m not mad. Promise.” Then, Statler grins, “And— You’re calling me cute? Have you seen yourself?”
Wanda- with a little dramatic flair that seems so natural to Wanda, she puts a hand to her chest, anger (if there ever was one) more than forgotten. Wanda leans up/down, plants a little chaste kiss on your lips. “You want more? You’re gonna have to work for it,” she laughs mischievously.
Kai- “Cute?” Kai barks a laugh. They look like they’d rather eat glue than believe you—a little disgruntled, very much unused to genuine out-of-the-blue compliments. “If you wanna make out, just say so. No need to be... ew about it.”
Travis- “You don’t take anything seriously, do you?” Travis snaps—his gaze also snaps (down, to your lips. He’s thinking about it). “Call me cute one more time and—” You know kissing him is the only way to shut him up. And so you do.

Jade/Jean- “C’mere,” J mumbles. Their expression is peaceful, serene, and they wrap both their arms around you, “So warm.” Jay hungers for your touch like a starved woman/man, they can’t have you close enough.
Uma- you snuggle up to Uma's long frame like they’re your home, and they turn around, nose against your shoulder. It feels almost like a reminder—you’re there, you’re together—but neither of you dare break the silence.
Statler- “You're like a cat. So cute,” they tease good-naturedly. Statler lifts their arm, waits as you snuggle against their side, and they wrap it around your waist. A small, pleasant sigh leaves them, “Perfect.”
Wanda- she smiles brightly as you approach, smiles even brighter when you nudge her arm. “You’re down bad, huh,” Wanda asks playfully. She gives you a little nonchalant shrug, “So am I.”
Kai- They flip the tables so quickly that you barely have time to blink. As they shift you and themself, you find yourself lying on your back— with Kai on top of you, head leaning on your chest, giving you a little smirk. “You wanted my attention? You got it, gorgeous.”
Travis- With a little resigned sigh, Travis asks, “What are you doing?” No matter what you say, he’s not going to be satisfied. “You know I don’t— Ugh. Fine. Stop looking at me like that.”

Jade/Jean- “huh,” J looks the ring over. They hide it again, pretending their little accidental encounter has never happened. As they walk away—what most would refer to as sulking—they grumble, “Beat me to it.”
Uma- in the heat of the moment, Uma forgets all logical reservations—as well as their personal bias against marriage. The ‘fuck yes’ almost rolls off Uma’s tongue. They impulsively clutch the ring a little tighter, the two of you need to talk.
Statler- wordlessly, Statler looks the ring over, wide eyes full of wonder and love—and tears. There’s nowhere to hide the flow of emotions threatening to spill, and Statler cries. They abandon whatever task they are doing, seeking you out, feeling like their feet are floating. Waiting on such a thing is not an option.
Wanda- curses—happy curses, in English and Spanish—fall from Wanda's lips. She performs a celebration in the form of a small dance, trying on the ring and watching it sparkle in the light. Reluctantly, Wanda hides the ring again, though she knows pretending she doesn't know will be an impossible task.
Kai- “Oh shit,” they mumble, “oh, fuck.” Kai hides the ring again—like it means hiding their problems, like they can ignore the entire situation—wondering whether they’ve enough time to get a flight to... how far away is far enough?
Travis- there's a hint of panic squeezing Travis' throat. Has he never ever told you that marriage is just... no? He pockets the ring, thinking over how to broach the subject and come to some sort of agreement.

The Statler you get in the mornings is rarely the Statler you get at home when they get back from work—they’re much more jaded, rougher around the edges after having to deal with their jobs, their family, everyone who smiles proud grins at them.
Nighttime Statler is usually so tired you barely get to look at them before they’re in bed and ready to sleep.
It surprises you—warmly, pleasantly, like Statler’s arms—when Statler hugs you from behind instead of disappearing. Head leaning on your shoulder, nose against your neck— it’s hot, everywhere they touch. But still, a shiver manages to shake your spine.
“Are you okay?” you ask out of inertia, and Statler hums against your skin.
They say, surely, like the heavy and shameless truth that it is, “I missed you.”
“Stat—”
“I miss you often,” Statler interrupts—much like a woman/man who’s taken a little run and can’t seem to stop. “It’s like— I want to hide away with you, forever. And not come out if I can help it.”

Unique - for all the ros, please. i know you did something similar in your 'pick this route if you like xyz'. but in an instory pov, what are unique or individual to them things that they do that makes them stand out [or just are subtle and soft] as a partner?

Jean/Jade is very meticulous. They're a perfectionist, and this translates into their relationships. When J dates someone they're very self-sacrificing in every way, shape and form. This stems from the fact that J is pretty stupid around their feelings lol (everything is rational and everything makes sense, but romance most certainly doesn't).
Uma’s uniqueness might as well be how detail-oriented they are. They also have a great memory (they're going to remember everything about their s/o, the good and the bad). Gift-giving might not be that high up as Uma's love language, but they do love to make sure their partner is appreciated (and to let them know that Uma's been thinking about them). They also give the best gifts🫂💕
For our n.2 self-sacrificing fool, Statler I’m going to choose both their resilience and their self-awareness. Statler is far from being perfect, but they've grown so much as a person since they were a teen. The amount of responsibility Statler carries and how much they love the people around them (taking care of them, being dependable for their sake). It comes with tons of stress (and Statler not being able to fully live their own life), but it's still admirable in a way.
Wanda stands out because of her emotional maturity alone lol (it's something very normal and very valid to ask in a partner, but she's the most emotionally stable out of all the ROs and that deserves to be acknowledged). Wanda rarely gets jealous, she's emotionally expressive, she's not demanding of her partner's time, she's supportive. Where can I find someone like her🧍
Lol Kai is such a mess they're a bit hard to define without spoiling anything. The way they've grown and the way they've viewed the world up to this point has been very unfair, and Kai genuinely doesn't know the first thing about having a healthy relationship. For Kai's unique feature, I'd choose their role in MC's life. They're the RO in whose route MC feels the most free/liberated.
Travis is also unsurprisingly hard to pinpoint. I think his bluntness makes him stand out. Travis' partner will never have to doubt him or his feelings, he's always going to be straightforward with what he believes and thinks. It might not be such a good thing all the time, but it is commendable when all the other ROs lie more often than not (due to various reasons ckskxk).

Wanda only touches you when you guide her hands toward you, and then she can’t stop.
Kai- “I practically invented that trick,” Kai practically chastises you—while they slip off their shirt, grinning widely— “But I won’t deny... it also looks good on you.” They tug your hand away from yourself, staring at you in the eye while they do so, while they shamelessly wrap their lips around your index and middle finger.
Travis- “You’ve no shame,” Travis almost says it like he’s disappointed, like he doesn’t want to believe his eyes. He wants to look away, you can tell he’s struggling, and then he looks—looks away, looks at you again— “Fine,” Travis approaches you, trying to mask his excitement under begrudging disapproval.

Jean/Jade- J is a writer—the ‘words don’t come easy, but they’ll never be truthful’ nihilistic kind of writer—but they most definitely don’t consider themself a romantic. They may spend an entire life adoring you, and they may never pronounce the word love when referring to you—never mind the paragraphs and paragraphs dedicated to your very existence. When it comes down to affection, J prefers to let their actions speak. J only knows love as an illusion of greatness, a lost war, and they don’t mind the pain. They want you to take all they can give—all their care, all their thirst for your touch—and then some more.
Uma- When Uma loves they fixate, their mind overflowing with your likeness—your edges, curves and dents; every detail you might consider a flaw is a beautiful wonder of nature in Uma’s eyes. Their mind is overpowering, and all Uma has ever known is drawing, so they draw you too. They wrap an arm around you when you’re together as well, so casual Uma likes to believe it isn’t deliberate—much like the hand holding, the gentle squeezes mid-hug, the little stolen kiss when nobody is looking.
Statler- Loves too much, gives too much, takes too little. They’ve been Noir’s emotional punching bag for too many years, they want and expect you to do the same. Jade/Jean- looks at the red spot, then back at you, frowns and glares—all but pouts—J points with a dismissive finger, “Who did that?” But it doesn’t look like they want an answer. “Nevermind. I don’t care. Take care of it yourself,” they snap. And they leave.
Uma- they look away like the sight of you burns, Uma avoids you almost desperately, they keep their eyes on their phone, frowning ever-so-slightly as they type away. Uma finally thrusts their phone toward your face, they add a little coldly, “There you go. Just— google it next time, okay?” the more they speak, the more Uma’s voice heats. Like a wounded animal.
Statler- “Oh. Oh!” Statler fumbles with their hands. They cradle your face, get a better look, wince like they’re in pain. “That looks bad. Let me— I’ll take care of it.” And Statler seems to know a lot of homemade remedies, they chat amicably like nothing is out of place.
Wanda- blinks rapidly, Wanda opens and closes her mouth, then she smiles as brightly as she can. “Damn, I really don’t want to know who did that. It looks bad bad!” she forces a laugh, and it almost sounds cheerful. “Lucky for you,” Wanda adds “I remember a few tricks back from my day! I’ll help you out like the good friend I am.”
Kai- “Huh,” deep in thought, Kai tilts your head, looks at your red spot, fixated, frustrated, they pinch it with their index and thumb—and it stings, you slap their hand away. “Ugh, next time— Just don’t fuck a vacuum cleaner. Geez.”
Travis- “What’s that? Wait— I don’t want to know,” you don’t know why Travis is so irrationally mad. He often makes sure to let you know just why you’re annoying him, but this seems different. Like Travis is mad at himself too. “I don’t know. Drown. Or something.”

how would the RO’s view an MC with a fwb Kai who obviously has a crush on MC but MC is oblivious?
Oooh no one really has a good view of Kai (baby is really misunderstood smh)... I think only Uma and Wanda would be supportive. They just want MC to be happy^^ Wanda would express some concerns about the fwb situation but she'd tell them to go for it (as would Uma).
J would tell MC they're being dumb and making a mistake lol. Mostly because they don't understand the fwb thing and they don't like what they hear of Kai. It takes a while for the two of them to even remotely like each other. Travis would go ‘who?’ and then tell MC to do whatever they want kgskkgs
Statler would subtly try to tell them it's a bad idea. They don't want to speak ill of Kai (atm they're the one who knows Kai the most/best) but they would want to ‘protect’ MC.
Kai isn't a villain or anything, they just have a terrible reputation. We gotta give the cast and MC time to get to know them🫂

The Dropout X Fling experience
Jade/Jean- looks away, doesn't say anything. J seems disdainful, indifferent as they return to whatever it is they are doing. And then you leave— J stands up immediately and storms inside the room, they see the person you had been with. With a little unworried scoff, they point out, “I thought [Name] had better taste.”
Uma- “You—” Uma looks at you, looks at the door. They roll their lips, uncomfortable, “Who— Sorry, I’m— I’m a little surprised, I guess.” Surprised seems like much less complicated than whatever Uma is truly feeling. “I should— Should get back to work, you know. I don’t want to... interrupt you. Or anything.”
Statler- Naively smiles up/down at you, “What are you sneaking around for?” and then the realization hits Statler, slowly, they tilt their head as their lips part in mild surprise. “Oh,” they say awkwardly.
Wanda- With a little pained laugh, Wanda looks you up and down, she forces herself to grin mischeviously like the good friend she is, “Congrats, [Name]. Is that a thing people say?” Wanda waves her words away with a nonchalant hand, “Ah, to be young again. Hope you had fun?” The more she speaks, the more uncomfortable she sounds.
Kai- “wow,” Kai laughs awkwardly, “Rude. Didn’t even invite me.” They twist their mouth, make their way toward you, hands playing with your belt, “You up for another round? Or should I fuck someone else too?”
Travis- frowns. Travis knows he’s not entitled to complain—doesn’t mean he doesn��t want to—he rolls his lips angrily, finally says, “Whose night did you ruin?” Travis frowns again—at himself—and adds, “Never mind. I don’t want to know.”
